Cronos: The New Dawn PS5

Bloober Team may have more from the world of Cronos: The New Dawn to share, if a new social media post is anything to go by.

The developer has posted two cryptic messages over the past 24 hours, with the first captioned: "The loop persists." It's now just followed that up with a second post: "The mystery remains unsolved… The future holds more answers." Within the image, there's the phrase: "LZRS28."

Separately, the Polish team has confirmed the survival horror game's main character, Traveler ND-3576, will be added as a skin in Fortnite on 21st April. The posts detailed above aren't related to the Fortnite skin drop, but in the tweet sharing the news Bloober Team called its original messaging a "tease". Therefore, the posts above do relate to something it has planned for the future.

If it's new Cronos: The New Dawn content, then it could take the shape of an expansion or some kind of new mode.

If Bloober Team is indeed working on DLC, then it'll have only started making it in the past couple of months. Back in October 2025, an investor discussion with the studio revealed it didn't have any expansions or a sequel in the works at that time. However, it was "definitely thinking about developing" the Cronos IP in general. The title was considered a "huge success" at the time.

As of earlier this week, it was announced Bloober Team is expanding its leadership team to better accommodate the seven projects it's currently working on, including the Silent Hill remake.

"We're not interested in growth for the sake of numbers," Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said. "We believe players don't need a constant flood of releases. They want experiences that feel meaningful, distinctive, and worth remembering years later." A sequel, or at least new content, for Cronos: The New Dawn would go down well with its current playerbase.
