Somehow, Bubsy returned — and word on the street is that his new game is actually pretty good.
From developer Fabraz, Bubsy 4D is a 3D platformer that was announced last year, and it looks like an attempt to course-correct the character's far-from-stellar reputation.
While most of his past games aren't particularly good, this new attempt looks like it could be the best the series has seen since its Mega Drive debut.
But you shouldn't take anybody's word for it; publisher Atari has recently released a playable demo on PS5, allowing you to check it out for yourself.

It's about 800 MB in size, and basically gives you access to the beginning of the game.
You can play the tutorial to get to grips with all Bubsy's moves, then check out the first three levels. You can also purchase a few upgrades and skins with the things you collect.
