Resident Evil Requiem is not set to release until next week, on 27th February, but we’re afraid to report early copies have already found their way into the hands of eager fans.
While that’s not such a bad thing in isolation, spoilers are starting to spread, so be extra vigilant when you’re browsing the web over the next few days.
Naturally, you won’t find any of said leaks here, but social media platforms like X and YouTube are the Wild West, so you’re going to have to be especially carefully – particularly if you’re known for engaging with Resident Evil-related content, as the algorithms will know to push any videos or screenshots in your path.

You can mute words or phrases in X, which may help reduce the risks of spoilers, so that’s a potential option you could explore. YouTube – particularly unexpected thumbnails – could remain a very real problem, though.
It’s a shame we have to go through this song and dance with every major release, but this is one of the downsides of physical media, as there’s a lead time required to ship Blu-rays ahead of release, and content ultimately always leaks.
There was speculation recently that Rockstar could delay GTA 6’s retail version for this very reason, but that was quickly squashed by parent company Take-Two.
Either way, there’s a little over a week to go until Resident Evil Requiem releases on the PS5, so be safe out there.
