The original City Hunter manga is getting an all-new omnibus print in English right now, and publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment is celebrating with a worldwide release of SUNSOFT’s PC Engine tie-in.

This game, previously only available in Japanese, first launched in 1990. Here you’ll find the original experience preserved as it was upon launch, as well as an Enhanced Edition which rebalances the release and improves upon its original concepts.

There’s also a Hard mode which alters item placement and offers an all-new experience for fans to try.

While the game will be available digitally this week, from 26th February, publisher Red Art is also taking pre-orders for a physical release right now.

This isn’t scheduled to ship until 17th September, but those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition (€39.99), exclusive to Red Art’s store, will get a sleeve for their Blu-ray and bonus key ring.

Of course, there’s also a Collector’s Edition (€69.99) planned, which features alternative cover artwork, a steel case, an acrylic stand, and an original soundtrack CD.

On the subject of the latter, TM Network’s legendary song Get Wild has been licensed for the title’s in-game music player, which is nice, isn’t it?
