Silent Hill F, Fatal Frame 2 Remake Adding Free Crossover DLC on PS5 1

Koei Tecmo and Konami will join forces to add free DLC costumes to their respective horror games, Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake and Silent Hill F.

The outfit DLC, planned for both games, will presumably drop following the former game’s release, on 12th March.

There’ll also be a demo for the anticipated PS2 remake, which will be available from 5th March. You’ll be able to transfer your save progress to the full game, as confirmed by the overview trailer below.

In a recent PS Blog interview, director Hidehiko Nakajima confirmed that this project goes beyond a remake, as dev Team Ninja is adding new areas and mechanics as well.

He said:

“This remake doesn’t simply recreate the original – it expands upon it and goes even deeper with additional side stories and new areas. And as well as the original ending, a special new ending has been added which features a newly written song, ‘Utsushie’, composed by Tsukiko Amano.”
