I own Stardew on like 3 other devices so the interest isn't there for me. Viewfinder looks like it'll be a short experience (not always a bad thing) and Psychonauts 2? Sure I'll get to that eventually. The first one was pretty good, though I played that one years ago and don't know how well the sequel compares. Overall a pretty bland selection to me. This is offset by the recent extra offerings which had a lot I'm interested in playing.

These games are bangers and those poll voters are silly 😵‍💫

Is the first Psychonaughts recommended/required playing before jumping into the sequel?

I think the main reason people said it was a crap selection is because they already bought the games.

Psychonauts 2 is probably the most popular because almost everyone already bought Stardew Valley.

Viewfinder was pretty good, and I’ll probably play Psychonauts 2 at some point so pretty good month!

Well another bunch of nothing for me. Made it to September and I haven't got a single game I want from PS Plus 😔

I feel like I should complain about this since I’m not interested in any of these games. But I have Ghost of Tsushima, ESO, Echoes of The End, Diablo IV, The Rogue Prince of Persia, and the upcoming Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots so I think I’ll just not be mad over this. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Psychonauts 2 seems interesting. I remember when it came out that it was spoken about with many complimentary reviews and high scores. I never played the first one so I just don’t have any attachment to the franchise. It’s one to put in the backlog for a rainy day.

Stardew Valley is so ubiquitous that I feel obligated to try it too, although I doubt I will get around to it. The Animal Crossing Farming Sim genre of game just isn’t my bag.

Had never heard of Viewfinder before this, so chances of it getting played are very low.

@StrickenBiged Psychonauts 2 is an immediate sequel, so I'd say yes.
And Psychonauts 1 is still an incredible 3d-platformer, so I also recommend it on that part

As someone who doesn't buy a lot of games but plays a lot of genres, PS+ is so worth it in the long run.

This month it is a fantastic selection, 3 great games each in a different genre. I might only play one of them, but still a great selection

@Bramble Thanks. And I agree with you, PS+ essential has been killing it lately. If I'm bored of my current games I can usually find something to play in my backlog of PS+ games. I love that they're in a special tab in my PS5 so that I can review that library easily.

Pychonauts 2 really is a great game more play will play it now that's great

Psychonauts 2 is fantastic! Love the series. That and Paradise Killer are two games I wish I could forget so then I could replay them .

It's actually a good selection as far as quality is concerned but those games aren't everyone's cup of tea. Plus people rag on older games.
