In case you'd forgotten, SEGA and developer RGG Studio are bringing back Virtua Fighter with an all-new entry.
There hasn't been an awful lot of news since the announcement, but the game just released its first real glimpse at gameplay during this year's EVO fighting game tournament.
Here's the video:
In it, we see characters Akira and Stella going toe to toe in a training stage.
While it'll still be quite a while before the game is ready for full release, there's promise here, with its emphasis on 3D movement, snappy animation, and a great shot of the final blow.

It's all too brief, but it looks as though RGG Studio is on the right track.
Fortunately, the video also confirms there will be more news about Virtua Fighter at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which takes place from 25th to 28th September.
