Of Course Omni-Man Is Playable in Invincible VS on PS5 1

There’s absolutely no way Invincible VS was going to release without Omni-Man, so here’s confirmation of his inclusion in the playable roster and some gameplay footage of him in action.

And yes, by the way, voice actor J.K. Simmons will reprise his role as the character.

His official blurb, as shared by developer Quarter Up, is as follows:

“A versatile and brutal fighter, Omni-Man is an excellent pick for or against any team composition. His versatile move set offers options at all ranges: he can apply pressure from a distance with his concussive blast, punish reckless advances with anti-air tools, or close the gap in an instant with his sudden and devastating takedowns. Balanced, efficient and relentless, Omni-Man is a top-tier ‘point’ character for players who want to set the pace from the very first hit.”

This isn’t the first time Omni-Man has featured in a fighting game, of course, because he was recently included as a DLC character in Mortal Kombat 1.

This new game, from ex-Killer Instinct veterans, is very different to NetherRealm Studios’ offering, though, so while there are obvious similarities in his move set, he’s likely to play very differently here.

Just to round out, that means Invincible VS’ roster looks like this thus far:

  • Atom Eve
  • Battle Beast
  • Bulletproof
  • Invincible
  • Lucan
  • Omni-Man
  • Rex Splode
  • Thula
