The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary

Originally released on the 18th May 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will celebrate its 10th anniversary in just a couple of weeks' time.

Building up to said celebrations, developer CD Projekt Red has posted a reminder across social media, stating that it wants to "celebrate together". It's also handed us some lovely new artwork for the occasion.

It's a bit mad to think that Geralt's climactic adventure released one whole decade ago. In many ways, the open world RPG is still the pinnacle of the genre; very, very few games that have launched since its arrival can say that they equal its overall quality — especially when it comes to character writing, impactful player choice, and side quests.

Of course, CD Projekt Red is now all-in on The Witcher 4, which stars Ciri, the young woman Geralt is trying to track down in The Witcher 3.

We obviously don't know what the company has planned with regards to the anniversary celebrations, but we can see it posting a lot of fan-related content across its social media accounts. It should be a fun trip down memory lane for anyone who's played through the game.
