No, you don't get a prize for seeing this one coming!
Last week, Diablo 4 teased an upcoming collaboration with legendary manga series Berserk — and now we know what it's all about thanks to a full explanation from Blizzard.
Basically, there are two parts to this crossover. The first involves random drops from elite enemies, which can then be traded in for a handful of Berserk-themed cosmetic accessories.
The second part is a selection of iconic outfits that'll be sold through the in-game store. Yep, you're going to have to cough up if you want to look like Guts while cleaving through the endless hordes of hell.

The free accessories are kind of cool, we suppose. You can hang Griffith's prison gear on your character's back, brand yourself with the mark of a sacrifice, or slap Skull Knight's shield onto your favourite mount.

Meanwhile, the premium outfits come in four different flavours. Barbarian characters get Guts' Berserker Armour and the Dragon Slayer; Rogues get either Griffith's Band of the Hawk armour and sword or Guts' Black Swordsman armour and a crossbow; and Necromancers get Skull Knight's armour and cursed blade.

Oh, and you can buy 'The Schnoz' as a pet, and purchase your own Band of the Hawk warhorse.
The Berserk crossover kicks off on the 6th May, but will you be picking any of this up? Dread to think how much all of those costumes cost in the comments section below.

Wait, what? ActiBlizzMS would NEVER do something like this and milk money out of fans of another IP shamelessly, it’s totally out of the blue! Surely!
yeah I was disappointed when I read the blog about that. While I love Berserk and the armors look perfect, I am not paying 2000+ platinum (which armor normally costs) for one set. Will try to unlock the "free" ones at least.
I'd just love to see a proper Berserk game, especially with demon-slicing similar to Metal Gear Rising:

I know there is a Berserk game (or two with the PS2 game) but it's more similar to Dynasty Warriors I believe, and those were never really my thing.
@Perturbator The badly named Berserk and the Band of the Hawk was the Warriors-style game. It's not bad and it captures the weighty feel of Berserk's fights quite well, but it's pretty limited in terms of gameplay.
I'm with you, I'd love to see a true Berserk game someday, with a decent budget and a real vision for what it wants to be. We can dream!
@ShogunRok to be honest I would prefer a proper Berserk anime than a game. The 90’s animation without blood and a bit toned down was okay and the disaster cgi anime from a few years ago was terrible. Would love a 1:1 manga:anime berserk with the animation of the Golden age movies.
@Perturbator The Dreamcast game is very short but a decent game overall, an aged hack'n'slash that follows it's own side-story.
That Schnoz is cursed
