Final Fantasy 7 favourite Vincent Valentine will be played by Matt Mercer in the PS5’s upcoming remake sequel, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The tidbit was announced to rapturous applause during a New York Comic Con panel over the weekend, and the moment was captured on camera below.
While we have heard a single line of dialogue from Valentine in a previous trailer – which led to rumours regarding Mercer’s role – no new footage was showcased during the aforementioned panel this weekend. With the game due out on 29th February, though, it’s likely we’ll be seeing a lot more of the title in the coming weeks.

Great news! I must admit, I did kind of hope they would cast the "cheap Ringo Starr impersonator" voice of Vincent in FF7 Abridged, though.
I will be waiting for Vincent to ask "How do you want to do this?"
