Take a trip to your local golf club and you’ll encounter all kinds of yuppies in Ralph Lauren polo shirts. Now imagine if Earth no longer existed and was used purely as a golf club for the intergalactic elite. That’s the tale that Golf Club Wasteland aims to tell on PlayStation 4 this August, with each course telling a tongue-in-cheek tale about life in the 2020s.
There’ll be three distinct modes: Story for those looking for a “scenic round of golf”; Challenge which sets par numbers for each course and challenges you to use your “skill and puzzle solving intellect”; Iron Mode which “provides almost no room for error for the most seasoned post-apocalypse golfers”. Interestingly, if you want to take this for a quick round, a demo will be made available later this month on Steam.

I played this on my iPhone back in 2019 and it was surprisingly excellent. Particular enjoyed the score/radio segments that played while you were golfing. Really added to the atmosphere. Seems like they've added new segments to the console version. Might just buy this one again to play on the PS5.
Lol @ covfefe. I imagine that'll go over well.
Anyway, looks... interesting. Seems less golf and more angry birds kinda.
Insta-buy. They had me at post-apocalypse plus golf.
So, it’s a cross between Dog Gone Golfing and Worms Crazy Golf with subtle, sporadic, soft-spoken sprinklings of The Golf Club’s commentator...with a British accent. Ok.
I thought it might be more like Golf Story, which was fantastic enough to 100%. Nevermind!
