Round Up: All Our Game of the Year Winners

Got the platinum for Miles Morales tonight😬 What a game! Thought it might feel too samey or I might get bored but it actually left me wanting more. Can’t wait for Spider-man 2.

I know we can all debate the order, but we should all agree that is a healthy list of games right there. A good end to the generation.

FF7:R was my personal favourite (don’t hate me) but I knew it wouldn’t get top. Just happy it got some loving at number 2.

The Pathless, Miles Morales, Persona 5 Royal are all on my to play list for this year. Too many games not enough time Edit: Also 13 sentinels Aegis Rim too..

Sad not to see Cyberpunk on there. CD Project Red did themselves no favors in the way they released it or in the way they lied about it both before and after the fact, but I've got to tell you, behind all the mountains of b.s. is a fertile valley of a game, my second favorite of the year. Would have been number 1 if not for the catastrophic release conditions.

When you see Nioh 2 and DOOM Eternal not making the cut, that means the year was pretty good. ^^

@Cornaboyzzz Yeah, really surprised to not see Doom Eternal on there.

Disagree with dreams and tlou 2 (need to be replaced with doom eternal) but besides that, this is a good list 😃

Bought dreams while it's still in the beta, after a while I'm kind of disappointed with it, it's a good tools for making games but in the end, I want to play games, not making it. This kind of tools is better on pc (just like gary mods) I think.

I rather have full good AAA little big planet 4 rather than this game, fortunately there's sackboy big adventure on ps5, can't wait to try it when I have ps5 😃

Godfall was robbed.

@ShogunRok I'm so disappointed with godfall, I'm hyped for that game, I though it will be god of war 2018 with more combat, more loots, and less story, but it seems to fail on all of those 🙁

Ps. Less story is not a bad story, I think it could be set up as zelda like, there's bad guy, there's clear reason why the guy is bad, and that's why you want to stop him, there's no need for 3-4 hours cut-scenes if the game didn't need it.

@wiiware You're gonna mark down Dreams because YOU were dumb enough to buy a game about making games, even though you know you have no interest in making games?

Despite there being no top 10 love for Doom Eternal it was my personal highlight of the year. Otherwise good list.

Godfall was pretty good in my opinion! Completed the whole game with my friend online and we had a blast. Looter-slasher, nothing more than that. We got exactly what was advertised.
Anyhoo, The Pathless was my #1, glad it made it to Top 10!

@Hollywooda I bought it becase it's looks cool and I though there will be good indie like games made by others, but it seems the game died down pretty quickly.

It's pretty dumb of you to think media molecule only made this game for creators, I really hope you can get smarter next time.
