Cult hit Spelunky’s long-awaited sequel will finally plunge the depths of the PlayStation 4 from 15th September, and it’s looking way more varied than its already unpredictable predecessor. A brand new gameplay walkthrough showcases some of the insanity you can expect from Spelunky 2, and you can watch that above.
“Our hope is that all this new content is going to be fun for new players as well as existing Spelunky fans,” Mossmouth boss Derek Yu wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “Not only is there more to see and do, but there will be more opportunities to find a playstyle that suits you best. And as you to explore the game world and unravel its secrets, you’ll be building a community of characters, old and new, who will support you on your journey and make your adventure feel richer and more interconnected.”

Easily my game of the show.
Day one for me, the first one is so fun. I finished the first game on vita, I hope ps5 dpad is at least as good as the vita dpad.
Looks really nice.
@wiiware I could fly through the game (with practice) on Vita yet on the PS4 i struggled to get past the Jungle stage.

@wiiware i used the thumb sticks, this now explains why i was constantly getting repetitive strain in my thumbs!
