Five years running. Can you believe we've been doing these annual E3 prediction quizzes for five years here on Push Square? Well it's true, and with E3 2019 just days away, it's time for the 5th Annual Push Square Community E3 Quiz (phew), where we ask you lot to predict the events of this year's show.
With no Sony at E3 this time around, the questions are going to be based on the press conferences and showcases of the other major publishers. That's EA, Bethesda, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Square Enix.
If you're not up to speed with how we do things around here, let's quickly go over what our annual E3 quiz is all about. Simply put, we present you with a selection of yes or no questions, and you, as a community, need to vote on what you think will be the correct answer. When E3 is over, we'll count up your votes and determine how many events you predicted correctly.
Last year, you got 20/30 questions right, which is isn't a bad score at all. However, we're always striving to improve here at Push Square, so let's see if we can better it in 2019. We've narrowed it down to 20 questions this year, mind.
Voting for all questions will close on Saturday the 8th June at 16:00 UK time -- that's roughly one hour before EA kicks things off with its EA Play stream.
Good luck!
Question 1: With Sony's absence in mind, we're all expecting a big show from Microsoft and its Xbox conference. Of course, third party titles are bound to play a key role.
Question 2: A superb trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the big hits at the Xbox conference last year, and it's probably going to show up again.
Question 3: Rumours that Cyberpunk 2077 will launch in 2019 were recently shot down, but CD Projekt Red has said that this year's E3 is incredibly important for the company.
Question 4: From Software's next game has been heavily rumoured to be an open world title, and Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin has supposedly consulted on the project. Crazy times.
Question 5: While not technically a part of E3, EA's EA Play event is where everything's expected to kick off. The livestream will feature gameplay, developer interviews, and some announcements.
Question 6: FIFA 20 is an inevitable announcement at EA Play, and the publisher has a history of awkward cameo appearances from sports personalities.
Question 7: We already know that DOOM Eternal and Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be a big part of Bethesda's E3 conference, but could the publisher also have some surprises up its sleeve?
Question 8: Fallout 76 has been nothing short of a disaster for Bethesda. The game was fully revealed on stage at E3 last year, and it will apparently appear again at E3 2019.
Question 9: A while back, there were rumours of current-gen remasters or even remakes for Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Nothing has come of them... Yet.
Question 10: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a meme at this point, but surely we've seen the last of it as far as E3 press conferences go?
Question 11: Ubisoft has said that its press conference will feature updates on existing games as well as new announcements.
Question 12: Watch Dogs Legion will be revealed at Ubisoft's press conference, but we don't know how in-depth this reveal will actually be.
Question 13: Rumours of a new Splinter Cell have been doing the rounds for years now, but we've still heard nothing concrete about Sam Fisher's future.
Question 14: Numerous leaks and rumours suggest that the next main Assassin's Creed game is all about vikings. Ubisoft has said that the series is taking a year off in 2019, however.
Question 15: Square Enix should have an impressive showcase on its hands this year thanks to Marvel's The Avengers and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Question 16: Final Fantasy VII Remake recently burst back onto the scene through PlayStation's latest State of Play broadcast. It'll no doubt be an important part of Square Enix's stream.
Question 17: Final Fantasy VII Remake is still going to be broken up into multiple games, leading many to believe that the first instalment could actually launch before the year is out.
Question 18: With Final Fantasy VII Remake out in the open and Final Fantasy XV all wrapped up, for the first time in a while, we don't know anything about the future of the series.
Question 19: It was recently revealed that NieR: Automata has shipped over 4 million copies, making it a huge success for Square Enix. Rumours of a sequel have been swirling for at least a year or so.
Question 20: Even though it isn't at E3, Sony could, in theory, still promote its own games through its own channels while the Los Angeles event takes place.

I wouldn't mind a remake or remaster of NieR Replicant, to be perfectly honest. Although I'd happily take NieR 3 as well.
Ah yes, all the other major publishers. All of them. No Devolver Digital love?
I can see a lot of this happening. Granted, most of it we can tell by the clock being broken.
I've said no to the fallout remake but since starting 4 (my first fallout), I would love to give new Vegas a go. Hoping for a remaster/remake or I'll be stuck with the 360 version.
@Ralizah i would love a remaster of the first nier, never played it before
E3... Knack 3... See the connection?
Fallout new Vegas please Bob.
Im surprised im in such small company thinking ff7 part 1 will get a release date at e3. I still think it might be ready to go later this year
@Octane Maybe Knack HD as a preorder bonus?
I was fairly pessimistic with my guesses, so if I'm wrong then it'll still be good.
I love the E3 quiz. A fun one as always, thanks!
One of my favourite features of the year this.
I voted different to the majority so far on many of these (although it's still early for the poll).
Q20 is an interesting one. I think Sony may well be sitting on something ready to drop at some point next week.
Legend of Dragoon remake/remaster i need nothing more.
This is like the second Christmas. I love the quiz and I love following E3 with all of you <3
The annual E3 community quiz.
Always a fun part of E3.
This is severely missing its annual 'will Ubisoft have at least one cringe moment?' question with a 99% yes answer.
@roe I belive Sony has something up their sleeve.
I’ll take more nier. More borderlands 3 wouldn’t be bad, either.
Some of these were almost a flip of a coin for me. 10minutes of actual game-play seems incredibly long for any game to be shown for - even if its split down into several small blocks - especially Cyberpunk because MS don't usually give a 'game' 10minutes of their press briefing time - but I could see an 'extended' gameplay video released to social media sites like youtube. Even Sony, when they opted to do longer play but fewer games didn't show 10mins of game-play...
The E3 quiz. It’s like the Coca-Cola advert signalling the start of Christmas.
So I seemed to disagree with the majority on a lot of them but to be honest, I am normally wrong so there we go.
My only prediction is that everybody is going to be disappointed by the Microsoft conference.
@johncalmc Nah, I think the Microsoft conference is going to be a winner. Especially since they have their pick of the litter concerning third-party game announcements.
@Acquiescence And this is why I think everyone is going to be disappointed in the Microsoft conference.
@johncalmc even tho they are showing 14 first party games ?
1 - Yes I think there will probably be double that amount
2 - Yes but only just, it's a long time for a third party game
3 - No maybe a release window (eg. Spring 2020)
4 - No
5 - Yes it has a half hour slot so I would hope a third of it is gameplay
6 - No
7 - Yes
8 - No think they will label it a success despite 'problems'
9 - No
10 - No maybe if it was going to go to stadia but would have mentioned it in the list of games
11- Yes
12 - Yes
13 - No
14 - Yes I think as it's pretty much been outed by leaks they will go ahead and just announce the title and that it's coming 2020.
15 - Yes
16 - No Their stream was pretty quickfire last year so don't think it will stretch to 8 mins
17, 18, 19 - No
20 - No slightly different in that I think a huge State of Play will hit a few days after E3 finishes with content like TLOU 2 gameplay and release date (March 2020), Concrete Genie release date and Ratchet & Clank new game reveal.
Can I beat the consensus score? I will check back in a few days
I expect Sony to do something just after E3 gotta move that spotlight to the right place.
@johncalmc - i have zero anticipation or expectation for the microsoft conference. i haven't actually bought a 3rd party game since march 2017 (and that was ME: Andromeda which was naff).
Yes / No / No / No / No / Yes / No / No / No / Yes / Yes / No / No / No / Yes / Yes / No / No / No / No
hmm.. i'm not expecting many of these predictions to happen, by the looks of it.
I'm hoping a Commodore 64 Mini is announced, complete with tiny tapes and a disc drive smaller than a shoe box.
