After initially launching in Japan in October 2018, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories will finally make its way west via a localised port on PS4, courtesy of NIS America. It's set to release in early 2020, so check out the announcement trailer above to build up some hype.
The Disaster Report series is known for its eccentric and boisterous takes on natural disasters across the planet, and it looks like this fourth entry is set to continue that lineage. "When a massive earthquake strikes your city, you find yourself at the epicenter of a chaotic and catastrophic crisis. It is up to you rise above the calamity, collect your thoughts and your fellow survivors, and outlast the disaster. Aftershocks, fire, falling buildings and debris, and unstable ground are but a few of the threats you will face in these nightmarish circumstances."
The port will also bring with it the PlayStation VR support that the Japanese version shipped with, a welcome addition for anyone with a headset. How many lives will you save? Save your own soul in the comments below.

I'm so glad this is being localised. Really looking forward to it.
Looks interesting! I hadn't heard about this series until now.
@get2sammyb Euro countries are getting this as well? Digital store as well?
oooh, interesting!
@NintendoFan4Lyf Is that the Kaiju one?
Wow, i wasn’t really expecting a western release for this game. This game was suppose to come out on ps3 . I will get this for sure.
@NintendoFan4Lyf
I remember first seeing it after falling in to a deep YouTube loop a while ago. Just some dude wandering about rubble while Ultraman was getting to work!
Played the Japanese demo last year. No idea what I was supposed to do since you had to interact with a lot of NPCs and select choices during dialogues.haha

Translation
Dialogue options:
Press O - "You there... go and stand casually under that precariously teetering building."
Press X - "Quick, follow me away from that precariously teetering building!"
That’s another niche Japanese series to tick off my list then!
Looks pretty good. Could be a breath of fresh air.
I guess this won't be dubbed.
Ah lovely! Psvr support...I always wanted to be in the middle of an earthquake or a giant robot destroying my town!
Vr will be terrifying lol. Cant wait!
