Bungie's published a bloody huge post on its official blog after cancelling its final Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris livestream. Get through the first few paragraphs of complete guff and the developer outlines its plans for the future of the shooter. The bottom line is that it has two updates queued up for December: one on the 5th, and one on the 12th.

We're just going to go over the main points here otherwise this article will turn into an essay. The overall idea is that Bungie wants the game to be more rewarding across the board. You'll be able to trade items like shards and other bits for vendor goods, and activities should dish out better stuff as well. Seems logical.

Next up, we've got a new weapon tier: Masterworks. These are essentially legendary weapons that have a random stat roll, although Bungie does mention that these stats are only drawn from a small pool. They also track your kills, which makes them a bit more personal, we suppose. What's more, they generate orbs whenever you get multi-kills, potentially making them very useful.

Last but not least, Bungie promises to "do a better job" of communicating with Destiny fans after the whole experience point scaling saga. If you want to read the whole post, be sure to click through here.

Do you think this is enough to take the heat off Destiny and Bungie? Let us know your feelings in the comments section below.
