The debate has been going on for months now, but is Final Fantasy XV's English voice acting really that rubbish? We've been trying to reserve our judgement until we've played the full game, but to be brutally honest, the title's English trailers haven't inspired much confidence. More often than not, lines sound forced, the audio itself is weirdly flat, and as far as we can tell, the writing isn't all that great - when it's translated into English, at least.

Enter the title's extended Tokyo Game Show 2016 trailer, which boasts Japanese voice acting from start to finish. Right off the bat, we have to admit that the native language sounds much more natural, although given that we can't really understand it without subtitles, it may just be a case of blissful ignorance. That said, we didn't cringe once while watching this video, so that's got to be worth something.

In any case, give the trailer a watch and let us know what you think of the Japanese dialogue in the comments section below.
