We have nightmares about coming up against some of the world's best Rocket League players on a regular occasion, but this is the kind of fright that we can get behind. In keeping with Psyonix's outstanding post-release support strategy, the developer has taken to the PlayStation Blog to confirm that a slew of Hallowe'en items will be available starting from 18th October.
These will be yours to collect simply by playing matches through the scary season. It doesn't matter whether you win or lose, as long as you're participating, then you'll have a shot at snatching some spooky antennas, rocket trails, wheels, and toppers. The items will be available until 2nd November, and if you don't snag them in time, then you'll need to wait until next year.
If you want to chuck the studio a few coins, then it's also worth noting that the title's new DLC pack, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, will release on 13th October. This will include two new vehicles in addition to all sorts of other goodies, which you can find out more about through here. Are you still playing Rocket League?
