How you gonna play this one then, Max? Not sure why we're asking this since you're just going to blow everything up anyway, but hey, at least you can choose how to get the job done from a whole range of psychopathic methods. Indeed, Mad Max's newest trailer is all about player choice, as you decide how he handles a particularly deadly situation thanks to the wonders of interactive YouTube videos.
If nothing else, the gameplay looks decent enough, and we're particularly liking some of the car combat. Our only worry, though, is that this is a title which is going to fall into every sandbox trap imaginable - so here's hoping that the release itself provides a little more surprise than this somewhat familiar footage.
Are you looking forward to storming the wasteland next month, or will you be holding back on Max and his mental pals? Take your junk car for a ride in the comments section below.

I'm getting this over MGS. Yeah, I said it.
@Splat Hell to the yeah man, this game looks so cool, should tide me over until Fallout/Hitman/Just Cause 3
@Splat me too, I'll be buying this and renting MGS, bring the chaos
Please tell me there will be pvp in this game.... Huge arena fights on such cars looks terrific!!!
@arnoldlayne83 I think it's singleplayer only but I'm not too sure, either way I'm so hyped for this
From what I've seen I think this game is going to get very repetitive, I'll have to wait & see for reviews first.
This game is a Just Cause clone, made by the Just Cause dev, because a film franchise hired them due to it having similar vehicle combat to the Mad Max films. Film franchises never translate to games very well, unless you have a game that is already similar to the film.
Example, if they made an Indiana Jones game it would be crap, but Uncharted and Tomb Raider are excellent. If Naughty Dog were hired to produce an Indiana Jones movie using the Uncharted game engine it would probably be a great game. But Naughty Dog are not for hire because they follow their own creative instincts.
Mad Max may be a good game, it may not. We will see. The only certainty here is that I will definitely be buying the real deal in the form of Just Cause 3.
@banacheck
Yes the fisty punchy melee stuff with naff animation looks extremely repetitive which is what you get when a film franchise is padded out due to lack of unique gameplay inspiration. We will find out the truth in the reviews.
To be fair we all said this with Shadow of Mordor, looks repetitive, looks like a poor man's assassin's creed etc... and yet looked how that turned out!! Great reviews and all round enjoyable game! My point, don't be too quick to judge just yet! Looks alot of fun to me! Will hold out for some reviews first though
@jonny_aces yeah I remember that, good point. I will hold my judgement till it drops.
