Slasher spin-off Dragon Quest Heroes II will cut the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita to ribbons in Spring 2016 – but only in Japan. The sequel to Omega Force's popular character action release will feature a new world, fresh story, an all-new protagonist, and four-player multiplayer. Sounds like Square Enix is throwing the kitchen sink at this one.
Sadly, we didn't get to see any of the game in action, but more information is promised for the Tokyo Game Show. In the meantime, you can look forward to the original Dragon Quest Heroes, which is set to release later this year in both Europe and North America. It's all Dragon Quest, all the time here at Push Square Towers today.

So many wonderful Dragon Quest related news today that I'm having to fight hard the urge to run around screaming like a little girl and hugging people on the streets.
@fchinaski Aw, the world could use more hugging. I say go for it!
@get2sammyb you're absolutely right, free hugs, ask me how!
I'm sure this game will eventually get a North American release, we just gotta be patient.
