Nathan Drake is set to embark on a brand new adventure this December – in the form of turn-based card game Uncharted: Fight for Fortune. The upcoming PlayStation Vita title – which is in development at Sony Bend and One Loop Games – was leaked earlier in the year, when an errant software rating was spotted online. We suspect that the standalone release was originally conceived as DLC for Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
“The core gameplay involves creating a team of Faction cards featuring heroes, villains and mercenaries from the Uncharted universe, and using that team to defeat your opponent while defending yourself from their attacks,” explained Chris Reese on the PlayStation Blog.
“Each Faction card can be equipped with powerful Resource and valuable Fortune cards, which enhance their stats and give them special abilities. Once you’ve selected and equipped a card, it’s time to head into battle.”
Your objective is, unsurprisingly, to reduce the health of your opponent’s Faction cards to zero in order to remove them from play. That enables you to attack your adversary directly, and win the game.
Cleverly, the title plugs into Uncharted: Golden Abyss, allowing you to use the artefacts that you find throughout the campaign to enhance your cards. Of course, you’ll be able to play the new release without the full Vita adventure if you don’t own it – but it’s worth noting that the launch title's available for free as part of this week’s PlayStation Plus update.
The card game's due out on 4th December in North America for $4.99. We reckon that it looks like a neat little time-waster. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

I've never been into Uncharted before, But this looks mildly interesting to me. And might even give me more incentive to find all the collectibles and get the trophies( which also power up cards) in Golden Abyss.
Also if anyone is wondering there will be a free demo and there is a single player mode with about 8 hours of gameplay.
I must admit, I love little spin-off things like this. It looks like the price is spot-on, so I'll be giving this a go too.
Also Bend are working on something else but they won't say
Plus this games looks very different & good!
Umm... no.
Only $4.99!? Looks like I'll be buying this after all!
Are the cards digital or can we buy top packs from real shops?
