What Might Move Us

On Move? Yes, please.

Here at Movemodo we’re no strangers to rumours, but in the gaming world these rumours are better known as possibilities. EA developer DICE has discussed the chance of Battlefield 3 getting Move support, and Killzone 3 proved that Move can handle the FPS genre as well as or better than the standard DualShock controller. Implementing Move here would be nothing short of amazing, and a great way to prove that third party developers are taking the controller seriously.

Another rumour that has recently sliced its way onto the Move scene is Ninja Gaiden 3 receiving Move support. Team Ninja's franchise has surprised the world already with full touchscreen support for Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword on Nintendo DS, proving the series is capable of offering unique control methods in fun new ways. Hopefully we'll find out a definitive answer on Ninja Gaiden 3 next month.

Call it controversy or call it a rumour: it’s no secret that Sly Cooper 4's announcement slipped its way into the world as slickly as the famed bandit himself. While The Sly Collection only offered a few Move exclusive mini-games, a fully Move-controlled Sly 4 is a very real possibility.

Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition was a big hit on Move with its post-release patch, and later this year Capcom is releasing Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X on PSN. Both games are remastered in HD and could possibly include the Separate Ways scenario that is featured in RE4. With Resident Evil 4 on Wii already offering motion controls and Move already supported in RE5, we expect that Move will be available in both of these titles as well.

Will we Move into Raccoon City?

If this isn’t enough zombie action for you, then the new title Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City relives the time frame of RE2 and RE3: Nemesis, but this time played from the perspective of an officer inside the Umbrella Security Service. Expect to see all these titles infecting E3, and we remain optimistic we'll be rocking undead head-shots with Move in every one of these titles too.

Sony's E3 2011 news conference takes place on 6th June at 5pm Pacific Time (1am 7th June UK time). We'll have all the PlayStation Move news from the show right here at Movemodo, so follow Movemodo on Twitter to stay up to date.
