Collect SKATE Letters

You need to collect all the letters that make up the word "SKATE". You can collect them in any order, and they're scattered around the level. Here's where to find them.

S: From level start, go left through the tunnel that leads you to 'Switchbacks - South Side'. Go through the door to the right to get to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. Immediately turn left and grind the rail to get this letter.

K: After collecting 'S', continue grinding the rail and jump to collect this letter.

A: After collecting 'K', continue the grind and you will find this letter.

T: After collecting 'A', go up the slope ahead and jump at the end to get this letter.

E: After collecting 'T', continue forward and this letter is above a quarter pipe ahead.

Nosegrind the Foghorn Rail

From level start, go left through the tunnel to 'Switchbacks - South Side'. Head straight through the area to the foghorn at the far end. You need to perform a Nosegrind all the way around the foghorn.

Photobomb 3 Groups of Tourists

For this goal, you need to find 3 groups of tourists posing for photos.

  • From level start, turn around and use the quarter pipe to transfer onto the ferry, where the first group of tourists is.
  • Get off the ferry and go left through the tunnel leading to 'Switchbacks - South Side'. Head left and follow the path to find the next tourists.
  • Go back the way you came and go through the door leading to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. Continue forward to find these tourists by the lighthouse.

Spine Transfer into the Water Tower

From level start, go left through the tunnel that leads you to 'Switchbacks - South Side'. Go through the door to the right to get to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. Turn right and go down the overgrown path leading to a set of pools.

Grind around the outside to knock the valve and drain the second pool. Then, get into the second pool and spine transfer into the water tower.

Release the Prisoner

For this goal, you need to knock into 5 wheelie bins to look for some keys that'll release the prisoner.

  • From level start, go straight ahead and you will find the first bin.
  • From there, turn around and go up the hill, then turn right to go to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. The next bin will be straight ahead.
  • Next, go down the narrow spiral slope, and the next bin is at the bottom.
  • Continue going downhill into the grassy area and the next bin is on the right.
  • Follow the outer edge of this area and you'll find the last bin to the right.
  • Once you have the keys, go back through the door leading to 'Lighthouse Courtyard', then head to the right to find the closed doors. Approach them to complete the goal.

Get the Secret Tape

After completing the goal Free the Prisoner, go inside the prison, and get up onto the second level, either using the quarter pipes or grinding the spiral staircase. At the top, head to the side with the open windows. Through the left-hand window is a rail you can grind — do so and jump at the end to get the Secret Tape.

To complete this pro goal, you must reach the stated score threshold.

  • Platinum Score: 500,000

Collect COMBO Letters

For this pro goal, you must collect all the letters that make up the word 'COMBO', all in one unbroken combo. You must also successfully land the combo.

The COMBO chain begins straight ahead of the level start position. Go up the ramp and grind the roof edge, hop left to grind the pipe, then manual over to grind the quarter pipe and a final rail.

Sal Flip Over the Bulldozer

From level start, go left through the door that leads to 'Switchbacks - South Side'. Ahead in the middle of the courtyard is a bulldozer. You need to use the quarter pipe at its front to jump over the bulldozer, performing a Sal Flip as you go.

Double Heelflip the Massive Crumbling Stairset

From level start, go left through the door that leads to 'Switchbacks - South Side' and through the door leading to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. Go down the spiral slope. To the left is a flight of stairs that are broken half-way down; you need to clear the entire flight of stairs in one jump, performing a Double Heelflip as you do so.

To set yourself up properly, build up your Special meter to increase your speed and distance. Go to the rail a little further back from the stairs and grind it towards the stairs — this lines you up for the jump perfectly. Perform a Boneless at the start of the jump to get the max distance, and you should clear the stairs.

Listen to Ranger Ron's Story

From level start, you will see a tourist cart ahead. Skitch the back of it. You need to listen to Ranger Ron's talk about Alcatraz for about 20 seconds. If you're struggling, you can use an Assist for perfect skitch balance — there's no penalty for this.

Where Are All the Collectibles in Alcatraz in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4?

Below is a list of all the collectibles you can find in the stage, as well as how and where to get them.

Cash

There are 5 bundles of Cash to collect in Alcatraz.

  • From level start, go left through the tunnel to 'Switchback - South Side', then through the door ahead to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. Go forward and down the spiral slope, then up the narrow path along the wall. Grind the rail and jump at the end to get this Cash.
  • Go back the way you came, back up to the lighthouse. There's a quarter pipe on one side of the lighthouse; use it to reach the Cash.
  • From there, go left and use the quarter pipe on the bathroom's left-hand side to spine transfer down, collecting this Cash on the way.
  • On this lower level, there's a building ahead — get onto its roof using the quarter pipe. The Cash is up here.
  • Leave the roof the side you came up, then head left to find a narrow walkway with a handrail you can grind to get this last Cash.

Hidden Deck

From level start, go straight forward and at the end use the tunnel leading to 'Switchbacks - North Side'.

Immediately turn around to the right and use the ramp at the end of the slope to get onto the tower to the left. Grind the rail and hop to the next ledge to grind, follow it around and jump at the end to reach the Hidden Deck.

From level start, go left through the tunnel to 'Switchbacks - South Side', then through the door to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. Next, go through the right-hand door to 'Rooftops - South Side'.

Up here, head to the far left corner and find a ramp leading into a loop-de-loop. Use it to launch onto a giant target, which has the Iron Galaxy logo at its centre.

Panda Plushie

From level start, go left through the door to 'Switchbacks - South Side', then through the door to 'Lighthouse Courtyard'. Next, go through the right-hand door to 'Rooftops - South Side'.

Up here, go to the far end and grind the rail to the water tower. As you go around, do not jump as the grind ends — hold grind to land on the wire leading to the tall tower. You need to land on the small platform to collect the Panda Plushie.

Stat Points

There are 4 Stat Points to collect in Alcatraz.

  • The first Stat Point can be collected on the same path as for the Hidden Deck.
  • From level start, go through the tunnel to 'Switchbacks - South Side'. The Stat Point is hovering just ahead.
  • From the previous location, continue around to the right, grinding up the stairs. Carry on in this direction and you'll find this Stat Point above some steps in the corner.
  • From the previous location, head left through a doorway to 'Rooftop - North Side'. Head left and use the quarter pipe at the edge of the roof to reach the Stat Point.
