Early on in Hell Is Us, you'll explore a mysterious dungeon. As part of our Hell Is Us guide, we're going to explain how to open the door so you can get through the entrance, as well as another locked door found inside.

How to Open the Dungeon Doors in Senedra Forest in Hell Is Us

There are 2 doors you may be trying to open here. Let's go through them both.

Exterior Door By Injured Soldier

  • After giving the med kit to the injured soldier near the APC, he will give you a strange key and tell you to open the mysterious door he's sat next to.
  • Climb the ladder to the left, then the next ladder to get on top of the structure.
  • Insert the key into the slot; this will bring up three poles with symbols on that you can rotate.
  • A little further ahead is a side room where you can find the first two symbols.
  • The third symbol is back the way you came, broken off and on the floor.
  • From left to right, the symbols are:
    • Fire
    • Eye
    • Pickaxe
  • Return to the door to find it has opened.

Interior Door By First Enemy

  • After you complete the first combat tutorial, the next order of business is to open the large door in this area.
  • The clues you'll need for this puzzle are located nearby. Head right to find an archive; explore this area to find a series of three tablets you can scan with your drone. These will give you a good idea of how to solve the door puzzle.
  • Return to the door and interact with it. Going from the inside of the circle to the outside, the three symbols you need are:
    • Tower
    • Snake
    • Fire
  • Once all the symbols are in place, the door will open.
