Alongside its main story missions, the game features an abundance of side quests, each with their own stories and characters. Ghost of Tsushima: How Many Side Quests Are There?

There are a total of 61 'Tales of Tsushima', or side quests, in Ghost of Tsushima. This total does not include main story missions or Mythic Tales, of which there are 7 (for more information on Mythic Tales, refer to this guide: Ghost of Tsushima: All Mythic Tales and Rewards).

In Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, the total number of side quests rises to 68, all of which take place within the Iki Island expansion. There are also 2 Mythic Tales to find on Iki Island.

Tales can be found all throughout the game. Some you'll simply stumble across, while others will be hinted at through dialogue with townspeople. Most, however, come in the form of character-based Tales, which involve characters that you meet during the main story. These particular Tales tell you much more about Jin's allies and their motivations.
