These are called unique weapons and belong in your loadout. In this Far Cry 6 guide, we're going to reveal all unique weapons and where to find them. Collecting them all will unlock the Armed to the Teeth Trophy.
Far Cry 6: All Unique Weapons and Where to Find Them
There are 53 unique weapons to find in Far Cry 6. Their locations on the huge map are the same for everyone; loot is not randomised. Usually found at named places in each of the game's regions, they are hidden inside red and brown chests with an alligator imprinted onto the top. Unique weapons are split across nine different categories, meaning there are a few suited to every type of scenario. However, unlike the standard-issue guns, you cannot customise them with different paint jobs and attachments. On the map, they are named Yaran Contraband.
Listed below are all unique weapons and where to find them, categorised by gun type. We have included information to help you locate them on the map along with a description to pinpoint them once you're in the general area. You can also see what each one looks like ahead of time in case you'd like to go after a particular weapon.
Due to the open world nature of Far Cry 6, it is impossible to encounter the unique weapons in the order listed below; we have copied the ordering of the title's menus to make this guide easier to follow. However, this also means you can fast travel back to any location in case you didn't discover one of the unique weapons you need. None are inaccessible at any point in the game and you can free roam after completing the story. Unique weapons bought from Ubisoft Connect are not needed to unlock the Armed to the Teeth Trophy, meaning four of the 53 listed below are optional.
Unique Rifles
There are 12 unique rifles to find in Far Cry 6. They can occupy your first, second, or third primary weapon slots, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
Death Rites
Area: El Este — Conuco — Maldito
In the centre of Maldito is a large building that's smoking after being on fire. On the ground in this building is the Death Rites rifle in a big chest.
Fuck Antón
Area: Isla Santuario — Quito — Casas Cove — Guau-Guau Island
The Fuck Antón rifle is located in a special locked chest on Guau-Guau Island, and you'll have to progress the story somewhat before you can unlock it. After reaching the point in The Monteros questline where you have unlocked the full use of the Montero Farm, multiple objectives will unlock at the location. One of them will be all about Chorizo, named Fetch Quest. One of the rewards from this quest is the Mysterious Key, which is used to unlock the chest back on Guau-Guau Island.
With the item in your inventory, head back to Isla Santuario and unlock the chest on Guau-Guau Island. You will know you're in the right place when you spot other people and a fire. Interacting with the chest unlocks the Fuck Antón rifle.
¡Viva Libertad!
Area: Isla Santuario — Vencejo — Cayo Seguro Peninsula — Punto Norte Lighthouse
The ¡Viva Libertad! rifle is located in the building next to the lighthouse. Simply head in through the open entrance and the red chest will be on your immediate right next to a table and set of chairs.
Camo Quinceañera
Area: El Este — Sierra Perdida — Yarabi
Complete the A Rising Tide Treasure Hunt in Yarabi to unlock access to the room containing the Camo Quinceañera rifle chest.
Sharkbite
Area: El Este — Conuco — Fernando Valley — Roca Pequeña Sat Station
This location is a Military Target so you'll either need to steal the key to unlock the armoury or take over the base entirely and then grab the gun afterwards.
Noblesse Oblige
Area: El Este — Conuco — Isabel Steppes — Museum of the False Revolution
In the bottom-left corner of the museum as you're looking at it on the map, the Noblesse Oblige rifle chest will be part of one of the displays.
One Ping Only
Complete The Lions Den Operation and you'll be automatically rewarded with this unique weapon.
Vaya Con Dios
Area: El Este — La Joya — Gabriel Castillo Airport
On the top floor of the watchtower at the Gabriel Castillo Airport the Vaya Con Dios rifle can be found.
Surf & Turf
Area: Madrugada — Aguas Lindas — Cobra Shores — Otega Croc Farm
Complete the Crocodile Tears Treasure Hunt and this unique weapon will be your reward.
Hi-Fi
Area: Valle De Oro — Noventarmas — Cielo Gardens — El Rancho Bicho
The Hi-Fi rifle is located inside an abandoned house packed full of information. The usual chest you're looking for is at the foot of a bed in the bedroom.
Urushi
Area: Esperanza — Old Pueblo — Santa Leticia Square
The central pier on the southeastern side of the area has the Urushi rifle in a chest at the very end.
Zona-51
Area: Esperanza — Old Pueblo — La Divinidad Cathedral
This is another outpost you'll need to take over, so either do so or take the armoury key and unlock the room.
Unique Submachine Guns
There are 7 unique submachine guns to find in Far Cry 6. They can occupy your first, second, or third primary weapon slots, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
Iron Curtain
Area: Valle De Oro — Cruz Del Salvador — El Tigre Dormido Hotel
The Iron Curtain submachine gun is located in a chest in the ocean directly next to the El Tigre Dormido Hotel. Head to the back of the building and jump off the end of the small pier, and the chest you need should be right in front of you on the sea bed.
Turn of the Century
Area: Madrugada — Lozania — Palma Forest — Resplandor Agriculture
This one is very easy to spot once you reach Resplandor Agriculture. The Turn of the Century chest is placed right at the front of the open building on the right.
Carriage Carnage
Area: Valle De Oro — Balaceras — Ancha Lake
Start off from the northern side of the broken railway line and follow the path until you make it up onto the train tracks. The Carriage Carnage chest is located on the other side of the train cart, so work your way around and unlock it.
Streamline Moderne
Area: Madrugada — Lozania — Palma Forest — FND 2nd Armored Division
Go to the FND 2nd Armored Division and enter the building at the centre of the base. Grab the Bunker Key and unlock the hatch there. Take the ladder down and follow the route around until you're in a bunker with a view of the outside; the Streamline Moderne chest is in our left.
DIY Death
Area: El Este — Conuco — Concepion — Resolver Quarter
There's a garage on the north-eastern side of the city in between two destroyed cars. Inside is the chest containing DIY Death.
SMG-Issimo
Area: Madrugada — Lozania — Chivito Mogote — La Raja
The chest is located in the bar.
The Heroic End
Area: El Este — La Joya — Dorada Cave — People's Pride Clinic
Behind the apartment building in the area filled with hospital beds.
Unique Light Machine Guns
There are 4 unique light machine guns to find in Far Cry 6. They can occupy your first, second, or third primary weapon slots, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
Sink Or Swim
Area: El Este — Sierra Perdida — Nueva Vida
Just south-east of Nueva Vida is a shipwreck underwater. Search it for the chest containing Sink or Swim.
High-Caliber Beats
A reward purchased from the Ubisoft Connect store.
Impact Driver
Area: Valle De Oro — Barrial — Muerte Point — Chancletas Resort
Head to the southwest area of the resort to find a courtyard with a locked gate. Use the building next to it to jump over and claim the chest.
Crackle & Pop
Area: Esperanza — West Labo — El Rayo Cinema
Take the zipline from the cinema's roof over to a building in the south. The chest is on the rooftop you use the zipline to reach.
Unique Sniper Rifles
There are 7 unique sniper rifles to find in Far Cry 6. They can occupy your first, second, or third primary weapon slots, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
El Depredador
Upgrade the Hunting Lodge back at a Guerilla Camp up to level three to automatically unlock the El Depredador.
Mixtape

Sobek Special
Area: Madrugada — Aguas Lindas — Oasis Plains — FND Storage Hub
Complete the Cache Money Treasure Hunt to gain access to the chest.
Double Clutch
Complete any Gran Premio Race on the map to automatically unlock the Double Clutch sniper rifle. The races are marked on the map as chequered flags.
El Tirano
Area: Valle De Oro — Barrial — Escila Fort
At the top of the lighthouse in the northwest corner of the fort.
The Transubstantiator
Area: Valle De Oro — Noventarmas — True Yaran Academy
Go down a manhole in the southeastern part of the True Yaran Academy.
Kobracon
A reward purchased from the Ubisoft Connect store.

Humidora
Area: Isla Santuario — Quito — Corto Bay — Punto Este Lighthouse
With the few guards at the base of the lighthouse killed, climb up the outside of the structure using the two grappling hook points provided. At the very top of the lighthouse will be the Humidora inside a red chest in front of the door.
El Rubi
Earned through story progression.
Ciervo Macho
Upgrade the Hunting Lodge at a Guerilla Camp to level two.
The True Loyalist
Area: Valle De Oro — Novertarmas — Gran Finca Power Station
Complete The Truest Yaran Treasure Hunt.
Excavation Execution
Area: El Este — La Joya — Catalina Ridge — Santos Espinosa Dam
Complete The Long Drop Treasure Hunt.
Supercharger
Area: Madrugada — Aguas Lindas — FND Oil Platform
Inside a container on the top floor on the southeastern side of the oil rig.
Com.Pew.Ter
Area: Valle De Oro — Novertarmas — Bandido Escarpment — Taino Peak Relay Station
Climb to the top of the main tower to find this chest.
Unique Bows
There are 2 unique bows to find in Far Cry 6. They can occupy your first, second, or third primary weapon slots, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
Bullseye
Area: El Este — Sierra Perdida
South of Lapida Mogote, past the Jaguar Control Post and Todos Santos Cemetery, will be lots of cages. The chest is in the cage at the back; smash the door to access it.
El Capirote
Upgrade the Hunting Lodge at a Guerilla Camp to level one.
Unique Launchers
There are 4 unique launchers to find in Far Cry 6. They can occupy your first, second, or third primary weapon slots, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
La Guaracha
Area: Valle De Oro — Cruz Del Salvador — Segunda
On the eastern side of town is a mural. Head into the courtyard of the building and the chest will be on the stage.
El Caballero
Area: Madrugada — Agua Lindas — Cobre Shores — F.I. Escudo Steel Plant
This chest is in the base's armoury. Either take the place over or steal the key to gain access.
La Petite Mort
Area: Valle De Oro — Barrial — Muerte Point
Complete the Sword-Crossed Lovers Treasure Hunt.
Into Orbit
Area: Valle De Oro — Noventarmas — Del Toro Point — Star Rocket Brewery
Complete the Liquid Courage Treasure Hunt.
Unique Pistols
There are 6 unique pistols to find in Far Cry 6. They occupy your sidearm slot, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
Blood Drunk
Area: Madrugada — Costa Del Mar — José's Villa
The main story will automatically take you to José's Villa fairly early on in the Magrudaga storyline. Enter the office at the top of the main building in the villa and the Blood Drunk pistol will be in the chest to your right.
The Autocrat
Area: Isla Santuario — Quito — Sagrado — Fort Quito
You can find The Autocrat in the basement/bottom level of Fort Quito. It's accessible either via the ladder within the fort itself or by swimming in from the outside. You'll find a caged room with a locked door down there. When looking at the locked door, head to the right and destroy the wood blocking a passage through the barbed wire. It's in the small area underneath the metal pathway up above. Enter the room and open the red chest to unlock The Autocrat.
Lethal Dose
Area: Magrugada — Costa Del Mar — Siniestra
Complete The Mongoose and the Man Treasure Hunt in Aguda Cliffs to be rewarded with Lethal Dose. It's in the chest that can be unlocked with the key dropped by the mongoose.
El Florecer
Area: El Este — Fontana Fort
In the southeastern area of the fort, look under some stairs for the chest.
El Regalo De Clara
Complete the Against the Wall Operation.
Pistola Sportiva
Area: Esperanza — El Presidente Square
Cross the bridge in El Presidente Square and on your left will be a baseball field. The chest is located in the commentary box.
Unique Auto-Pistols
There are 4 unique auto-pistols to find in Far Cry 6. They occupy your sidearm slot, and are spread throughout Yara for you to discover.
Rococo Loco
Area: Bandido Operations
Los Bandidos is a feature that allows you to send NPCs you recruit on missions with timers on them. In order to access them, head to any one of your three main camps and head to the blue icon with a star in the middle. Next to Lola is the Bandido Operations board. Complete the mission with the final reward of a Rococo Loco and you'll be given the unique auto-pistol.
El General
Area: Isla Santuario — Vencejo — Prado Meadows — FND Munitions Storage
After taking out all the guards present and looting the armoury key, enter the only building in the base and take the ladder down to the underground bunker. Enter the armoury and directly in front of you will be the chest with the El General inside.
Snapshot
Area: Valle De Oro — Golfo Vasto Lighthouse
Climb to the top of the lighthouse and the Snapshot unique weapon is yours.
