Update []:

It was leaked already thanks to the below age rating business, but we now have official confirmation: Peak is coming to PS5.

Peak: Console Edition launches very soon, too, arriving on PS Store on 22nd October 2026. Here's the trailer:

The console version is fully featured, with all content updates included at launch, as well as full cross platform multiplayer support.

In addition to the digital launch later this month, a physical edition is also on the way. It doesn't have a release date yet, but it's available for pre-order now at some retailers, including VGP.

The physical edition comes with the game on disc, but it also comes with a digital code you can gift to a buddy so you can play together. You'll also get what appears to be a sticker pack.

So, there we are — one of last year's biggest indie hits is finally on the way. Will you be playing Peak on PS5? Tell us below.

Original Story: Last year, it was difficult to be online and not see endless clips of a game called Peak — a co-op climbing game that took the world by storm. Well, it seems it's finally making its way to consoles.

The game, a collaboration between Aggro Crab and Landfall Games, has been rated for release on PS5 by the North American games ratings organisation, ESRB (thanks Wario64).

Rated E10+, this listing has all but confirmed Peak is coming to PS5 in the near future. An official announcement is likely imminent.

For those who don't know about this game, it's sold over 10 million copies since its launch in June 2025, and has accumulated an astonishing 146,500 "Overwhelmingly Positive" Steam reviews.

You can play alone or in groups of up to four, and your goal is to reach the top of a large mountain, using various tools to help each other make the climb and stay alive.

The catch is that the mountain changes every day; a new layout rotates into the game every 24 hours, meaning you can't memorise any routes.

If you're into online co-op games, this will almost certainly be worth a try when it arrives.
