20. Tekken 7 (PS4)
Though showing its age a little these days, Tekken 7 remains a great fighting game. Its super-crunchy combat is arguably better than ever here, with its overhauled rage system giving even novice players a fighting chance. There's an OTT story to follow and a solid suite of modes to enjoy, including local and online multiplayer of course. An all-round excellent fighter.
19. SoulCalibur VI (PS4)
SoulCalibur as a series has always struggled to recapture the magic of the now legendary SoulCalibur II, but SoulCalibur VI comes close. A return to form in many ways, this weapon-based brawler refreshes its cast of eccentric characters, while also throwing Geralt of The Witcher fame into the mix. Loads of game modes and a range of flashy combat adjustments make this instalment a robust fighting game package, and it all looks lovely in motion.
18. Injustice 2 (PS4)
A visual tour-de-force, with a stunning cinematic campaign that actually felt worth a damn: Injustice 2 saw NetherRealm Studios on top form. With dynamically changing ladders introducing new challenges every hour and a neat loot system which added real replayability to the game, this fighter will go down in history as one of the biggest, most graphically stunning efforts ever to release on consoles at the time.
17. Mortal Kombat X (PS4)
Mortal Kombat X has become something of a fan favourite over the years — a typically gory and charmingly daft entry in the long-running series. On a mechanical level, X gets a lot right — it's like a melding of older Mortal Kombat titles, spruced up for modern times. Whatever your skill level happens to be, it's great bloody fun, capped off by a comprehensive character roster and loads of engaging game modes.
16. Minecraft (PS4)
Arguably one of the most culturally significant releases of modern times, Minecraft is up there with Super Mario and Space Invaders in terms of its impact on the industry. It also happens to be an absolutely superb game that’s ever-expanding thanks to Mojang’s live service model, which sees new content packs and gameplay mechanics added relatively regularly. With the boundless creative energy of LEGO and a genuinely engaging survival core, this is a title that can be almost whatever you want it to be, which helps underline its overall longevity.
15. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (PS4)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brings back one of the most influential shooters ever in this robust remake. It looks fantastic, plays just as well as you'd expect, and features all the multiplayer goodness you could want. The campaign is the star of the show, though, building on what came before to make it even more cinematic and engaging. One of the better entries in the franchise in recent memory.
14. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (PS4)
A wonderful recreation of the PS1 original, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a real blast from the past. Drift boosting through beautifully rebuilt tracks in the generous Adventure mode or taking the racing online is a lot of fun. Much like the PS1 title it's based on, this is an arcade racing game with tight controls, surprising difficulty, and lots to see and do. Despite some areas that could've done with modernising, this is probably just about the best kart racer on PS4.
13. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 (PS4)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 brings back a pair of absolute classics for a new audience. Remaking both games to modern standards, the package retains the zippy, addictive gameplay fans know and love with up-to-date visuals and a refreshed soundtrack. It's a super impressive game with loads to see and do, including a full suite of local and online multiplayer to enjoy with friends.
12. Dreams (PS4)
If you can imagine it, you can probably make it in Dreams. Media Molecule's latest is an unbelievable creative suite that lets you build practically whatever you fancy. The toolset is intuitive and seamless, allowing users to make truly impressive things with nothing more than a PS4 controller. But that's only half the story; if you don't want to build things, you can happily spend hours and hours simply exploring what others have created. The game is chock full of amazing stuff, including the developer's own Art's Dream story. It's hard to condense Dreams into a single paragraph, but just know it's among the very best PS4 has to offer.
11. WipEout Omega Collection (PS4)
The granddaddy of anti-gravity racing makes a triumphant return to PlayStation with a gorgeous remaster that brings together content from WipEout HD, Fury, and 2048. The fast and fluid racer plays beautifully, looks gorgeous, and runs like a shiny, metal dream. The recently added VR support is incredibly well implemented too, making this an even better package for PSVR owners. While we’d have preferred an all new entry in the franchise, this serves as a great reminder of why WipEout is so beloved by fans.

Divinity original sin
My shout for underrated local co-op would be Moving Out. You empty houses into a van. And it's great, kinda weird, and simple enough for my none-gamer gf to pick up and play.
Everybody’s Golf. I still have a standing biweekly date to play with a few pals. Never gets old.
Surprised not to see Overcooked 1 or 2 and Moving out on here. Also Hotwheels Unleashed is great to play with the kids on the couch.
F1 games are also really good in split screen. I’ve had many hours having quite intense battles for the lead

What a cool adventure! refer to more about geometry dash unblocked for great things.
This series is a really entertaining way to get your co-op FPS fix, offering a ridiculous variety of potential weaponry, some fantastic sci-fi landscapes to explore, and some silly writing to keep you entertained. Regards from Basement waterproofing new braunfels!
I play a few co-ops with my seven year old daughter - favourites are Little Big Planet, Overcooked: All You Can Eat, Moving Out, and Unravel Two. All quality, fun, shared experiences with a good amount of giggles
