@Ralizah, expanding on what @nessisonett said, the first DMC was developed by the guy who would go on to found Platinum while he still worked at Capcom, and is considered the progeny of the "stylish action" genre of which they're known for (he didn't work on any of the sequels, though).
The first actually started off as a concept for Resident Evil 4, though once development veered into a more action based focus it became it's own thing, though elements of it's RE heritage can be felt in the first game. Most notably the fact that the game entirely takes place inside a spooky castle (which becomes more twisted the further you get, and is considered one of, if not the most spooky locale in the series) that has an interconnected layout that involves puzzle solving & backtracking. However, progress has been segmented up into "missions", at the end of which your ability is graded (much like Platinum's games). Later games in the series would be designed with a level/mission based progression system from the start.
I'm still new to the series myself, only playing the first last year after playing Astral Chain. The second is considered the worst in the series, largely because they rushed it out the door after the success of the first, without the guy who made the first.

@nessisonett The cool thing about Persona 5 Scramble is that it's barely even a musou, since it's not a spinoff, has social features, and the battle system is so heavily modified that it doesn't feel like traditional Warriors gameplay. It's basically a new P5, but with real-time combat.
HW:AoC looks to be more of a traditional musou in that regard, but being positioned as a story prequel to BotW, I'm still quite excited for it.

@Ralizah It has social features but they're INCREDIBLY LIGHT
The confidant system is not present at all in the game and most of the social sim elements are done through event cutscenes. The calendar system is also surprisingly just a visual addition to mimic the feel of Persona, while time management is actually not that emphasized, and you can do stuff like exiting and re-entering the various Palaces (which are called Jails in this game) without a day passing in the calendar.
@Ralizah The first Hyrule Warriors has an insane amount of content, I still drop in and finish stuff off when I can. This one looks more like a linear experience for now.
I played through all the story content in HWDE, but gave up the adventure mode thing after I cleared the first map (while I'm interested in extra costumes & the like, I'm not going to grind through it a couple hundred hours just to unlock them).
Still, it was a pretty fun time & I look forward to this one.

@RR529 I forgot Hyrule Warriors came to Switch, that’s another Wii U port! I have both the Wii U and 3DS versions and played hundreds of hours between them.
I kind of like how Nintendo seems to be doing weekly info bombs lately.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Indie World August, Partner Showcase August, Mario 35th Direct, and now Hyrule Warriors 2 have all been back to back to back I think?
I wonder how long they can keep this up? Probably another Partner Showcase this month if it is indeed a monthly feature. Maybe a Pokemon Direct detailing new info about Crown Tundra DLC & updates on New Pokemon Snap & Detective Pikachu? Maybe an in depth Smash trailer revealing the next fighter?

@Ralizah@nessisonett@RR529 I'm having trouble finding a physical copy of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition...should I settle for digital or will Nintendo eventually reprint more physical copies?
@KidBoruto I honestly forgot it was on Switch. I own it on both Wii U and 3DS. With anything though, if I can’t get it physically I’ll just go for digital. Better to play the game at all than miss out.
@KidBoruto Nobody knows. Lots of games are seeing shortages right now, and it's perfectly possible that Nintendo could reprint them. But it's perfectly possible that the physical prices could keep going up and up as well.
At the end of the day, you have to decide how important having a physical collection is to you.
I'll also say that you should maybe prowl ebay for a while. I've found some amazing deals on games with usually sky-high secondary market prices.
Disgaea 6
Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Stories 2
Rune Factory 5 was shown off and looks awesome
Oh, and a port of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, too
