Hello you lovely people, how are we all?

This is a thread dedicated to those games, accessories, ect that we have mostly forgotten about.

*Apologies if this topic has been posted prior.

DYR?: Call of Duty Elite.

I was just flicking through my PlayStation downloads and came across the CoD Elite app and a wave of Blops memories came rushing back, mainly of saving videos where I was cheated haha

The Dead Space game. I haven't met articles about it for a very long time, but the game truly impressed my childish mind.

PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, i was looking through a box of old games and i had completely forgotten i even had that one, i gave it a go again and it's actually pretty fun

i also found i had 2 copies of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time on the N64, one is a Gold cart ad the other is a normal grey one

@mirajane The original game was fantastic and completing it with just the plasma cutter was a great achievement for the gold trophy. Playing it a second time through with all weapons seemed so easy in comparison!

It’s also just about the limits of horror as I can manage.

@Thrillho Talking about horrors, when I was a child the game was not scary at all. Now I wonder: how come? Don't know if I'm able to play it these days without sleeping with light on and having smb by my side all the time.

Anyone remember the EyeToy? I think I was 10 or under when that came out and I thought it was awesome back then. I wish I had the foresight to know the money for that could've went to better games.

@DerMeister I played it only at family party over at my nephew's house. I remember really liking the window washing game, but thinking back at it... all these minigames were pretty much the same, right?

Anna Kournikova's Smash Court Tennis. Played that loads, but no-one seems to remember it now.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@DerMeister Yes! A regular fixture at Christmas with my family for years.

I also remember a game involving fireworks and one that would mirror image the screen in multiple ways and you had to hit the correct corner.

@Gremio108 This is one of those games I only had a demo of but still played it loads.

....PlayStation Home.
Considering the mess that ended up being, I sure wasted a lot of time with that. Don’t judge.

The Eye of Judgment. Loved it - still have it, and a bunch of cards.

Shellcore

Mini cheat books that came with magazines and got all musty smellin'. Also had monochrome screenshots of some games in there as well to look at.

@Shellcore I used to try to buy those alot as a kid. Funny thing was, most of them never seemed to have cheats for games I owned.

Video games on cassette tapes. Wait ages for them to load whilst listening to a really nice* screeching sound. Only to get to the main menu for the game to crash. Get a pencil to unravel the tape trying to find a crease. Today's generation don't know how lucky they are with loading times. I give them install times through, games like Fallout 4 and RDR2 have epic install times.

*Not nice

Boy good topic and where to start.

1) Dead Space being a horror game
2)Being jealous of a Commodore 64 because I only had a BBC Micro
3) Total (Nintendo) magazine in the early 90's.

Heck I'm old

Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot

@Frigate Yeah think my folks have my games too. I have some music cassettes at my flat and a walkman to play em on. I did use it a couple of years ago when for whatever reason I couldn't use my phone.
