WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
I don't think anyone has questioned the PS Store or indie support at all. The worries come from the big retail exclusives. After Killzone and Tearaway this year, there isn't anything else in store besides Freedom Wars. Sony themselves aren't putting too much effort in.
And the majority of those games you listed can be found on other platforms. Nothing on that list will make most people run out and get one.
Yeah, pretty much what @IAmNotWill said. It's not the lack of games, per se: it's the lack of exclusvive, heavy-hitter games. You know, stuff that Nintendo's putting on the 3DS, like Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, etc.
The Vita has Tearaway, Killzone, Ys, Valhalla Knights 3, and Freedom Wars. And that last one is only confirmed for Japan. And those games will vary in quality. Everything else can be found on other platforms. Correct me if I'm wrong.
People want games that are high in production values and are exclusive to the Vita. And there's not much on the horizon in that regard. Once again, correct me if I'm wrong. I really don't want to have such a pessimistic view of this system.
EDIT: Actually, Gods Eater 2 will also be on PSP. Shoot.
Now if we were to eliminate indies, kickstarters, non-exclusives, ports and Japan only games (ATM) That list gets much much more shorter.
"They played us like a damn fiddle!" - MGS5
"Finish your mission, prove your loyalty." - MGS3
"We could take a s*** on you from such a height, you'd think God himself has crapped on you!" - GTA: SA
Currently Playing: The Phantom Pain.

@Gemuarto Sorry about that. Originally I had Gods Eater 2 on that, so it was Freedom Wars and Gods Eater 2 as the last two. It has been fixed accordingly.
Best thread ever
Feel free to add me on Miiverse or PSN.
Miiverse is Moomoo14, PSN is Moomoo1405390
It may have games but not the ones I want for now the only ones that I want to play are Tearaway, Gravity Rush and Freedom Ways. Must of those games are alose ports of games that I can find on PS3 cheaper so that's why I'm not interested on Vita except for those games I mentioned before.
This list is definitely what I'm talking about. The Vita's lineup is absolutely insane. I get that most of these aren't going to sell the device alone, but it's no wonder that people that do own the system are incredibly engaged -- the lineup is just ridiculous.
All non vita owners above killzone mercenary and persona 4 golden are good enough to own this handheld.
So two games are the reason to own a system, one of them being a remake?
I wish I had money to blow like that lol
Well Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time 3D helped 3DS on its time of crisis so for some its a reason to own the system. I think remakes might a reason to buy a system if you never played the game before or you've very fond memories with the game, so in some cases can be considered a reason to buy a system.
On the other hand no two games is not enough at least for me to own a system.

Thats the Vita in a nutshell. Its hard for Sony to entice people with whats on show, but once someone bites they become enamoured by what the device has to offer.
@LegendaryBoss Cheers for the heads up on the 4th September date for Atelier Meruru. Thats the stufff that'll keep me hooked to my Vita for a while. Can't beat JRPG's on the go

Exactly. There is heaps of content for the Vita, but the "niche" of the system is that you can get a console experience on a handheld. That is what it can do an the 3DS can't. The game I am most impressed with so far is NFS: Most Wanted. That game is almost identical on PS3 and Vita. It just shows you how you can get the fully fledged console experience on the system.
It's more of those "big" titles that it are missing. Borderlands 2 is a great addition (even though it is a port) and got one of the biggest cheers in Sony's presentation. The big titles are slow at the moment, but I hope/trust that it will soon change with new momentum generated from the price cut.
