Well, considering the Vita has stabilized itself a bit over there Sony doesn't really need to come out swinging on that front. PS4 on the other hand is performing like absolute sh*t and it will only get worse if the press conference disappoints. Sony hasn't really knocked one of the park at either E3 or Gamescom so my expectations are low for whether we're talking the Vita or PS4.
At the very best, I think we'll see a few trailers for mostly already announced games. The PS4 needs to pick up steam in Japan, and this is obviously a prime opportunity to show people why they should upgrade from PS3.
The likes of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, and Yakuza Zero could all be getting a teaser trailer or better at this conference.
If we're super lucky, we'll get announcements, but since it's being specifically called a pre-TGS showing, then it would make sense for Sony to simply ease things out and then wait for the big presser to do something more in-depth. We'll see!
