Thanks to Funes mori, Divock Origi is out for the rest of the season , scan confirmed ligament damage. Liverpool will struggle to win uefa league now. We only have 1 striker. And no plan B from bench
Reasons Martinez should go now. Martinez see one game and everyone else sees another he is not honest when he talks to the press. He made Baines apologise when all he did was speak his mind. Under Moyes the team played better with less quality. Now we play worse football with a better collection of players. Baines and Coleman are not as effective under Martinez leadership. Barkley and Stones have not developed enough under the manager. They lack concentration as a team and concede a lot of late goals.
He does not do enough work on the defence and refuses to see out a game when we are in the lead. Never learns from past mistakes last season with Dinamo Kiev and this season with Man City. Cannot not organise his defence to deal with crosses. Goodison Park used to be aplace where teams did not like to come and play now they know they will come away with atleast a point probably three. Our home form is the worst it has been in 138 years.
Marrtinez is a failure in the transfer market Kone and Alcarez were not up to the job. He did not drop Howard soon enough when it was clear he was not performing at his best. The in January he signs Niasse for 13.5 million. Plays him for 33 minutes then tells the press he is not fit enough for 90 minutes and will probably not play again this season.
Contraversial as it would be I would like to see Benitez be the next manager he has a proven history and can organise a team. He will be available if Newcastle go down because of his break clause. The matter o ff Everton fans could accept a former Liverpool manager would probably be too much which is a shame. Whatever manager is chosedn I would like to see one with a proven history and experience.
@Anchorsam_9: Kante player of the year and Alli for young player of the year. Mahrez and vardy arguably wouldnt have been allowed their freedom if not for kante. The reason for Alli is that he's shown a level that looks consistent. Kane only plays well when Dembele is on the pitch.
Top four's impossible to predict until we see the mechanisms of the summer for me. Will Leicester keep the band together? How will Klopp/Guardiola refresh their teams? Will Wenger stay another season? What's going to happen at Man United? Can Tottenham build upon an already rock solid squad? Who will West Ham sign? What's going to happen at Everton?
Shame about Sakho's drug allegations, he was in good form too - that's Can, Henderson, Origi, and Sakho that we've lost in recent weeks, and ahead of one of our biggest games yet too. Hopefully his B sample proves that he's innocent, otherwise that's a big ban from UEFA and a big problem for the rest of the season. Toure is fine, though he can make a mess of things, and I certainly don't want Skrtel playing after his display against Southampton. Lucas had a really good game at CB for the Capital One Cup final, and I forgot about Caulker, so it's good that we have options.
As for today's match - bleh. The amount of times Mignolet has cost us a goal (and eventually a game) is awful, and he really needs replacing. It seems like we have a better chance of winning when we're behind at half time rather than when we're in front!
@Anchorsam_9: here's a question for you why Does a professional footballer need to take "fat burners" He trains everyday he should be naturally in shape Can only think sakho is gorging on Mcdonalds after training.
OVERWATCH ps4 KDR 4.8. games won ratio 84 %. Best kill streak 52. Most eliminations 88
@Bazza78: It's a weird one isn't it? It's hard to know whether the club administered them or whether he took them himself, but either way I see no reason why he'd need to take them.
@Kyroki: well deserved that, to think Liverpool Didn't think Alli was worth 5million knocks me sick! He was at Melwood. And was a boyhood Liverpool fan.
What does everyone think about the Spurs game tonight? If they lose, it'd be almost certain that Leicester would win, but I highly doubt West Brom are capable of beating Tottenham considering their awful form. 3-0 to Tottenham in my opinion
What nonsense. Vardy handed an extra game ban. They must have watched the Spurs game n thought.. "Lets make it more interesting. There's still a few games left in the season. If Leicester win on sunday, nobody will watch them. Ban Vardy for that match."
He got done for moaning at the ref. What player doesnt moan at the ref in every single game??? Also, they say a refs decision is final so why do players get done AFTER the game? If they are gonna use video tech to penalise players then it needs to be used in the game itself. Not afterward. You watch Delle Alli get done for something the ref MISSED but sky picked up. Absolute hypocrisy!
