But I came back into this thread to post this off Twitter; what an amazing thread this is

@ThereThere @Thrillho What do you think of the controversy about the final wicket of Charlie Dean yesterday in the Women's cricket? Should she have gotten a warning from Deepti Sharma for leaving her ground first? The crowd clearly didn't like the result.

@thebrandedswordsman, for me while in the laws, a bit unsportsman. India had the series won anyway.

the crowd at womens cricket is often newcomers and kids, hard explaining it to them

@TheBrandedSwordsman I thought it was disgraceful really. The series was already won and the match was on for an exciting finish and one India should have been able to wrap up anyway.

But I still don’t think it should have been given anyway as the bowler was mid-bowling action so it shouldn’t have been allowed. Fair enough if they warn the batter or do it before they’ve started their action but that wasn’t the case here.

@Thrillho @AgentCooper Long time no speak, hope you are both well. What are your thoughts on the first England v Pakistan test? I thought that bazball went well but was helped along by the duff pitch that the squads had to play on.

We'll have a conclusion to the test in a couple of hours or less.

@TheBrandedSwordsman Incredible result really.

Yeah, it was a dream to bat on but England made the most of the opportunities. A ridiculous set of records broken on day 1 in particular! Fabulous performance by the seamers as well.

They left it late but winning from the position they were in is amazing.

@Thrillho Were you pleased with the whitewash against Pakistan? I reckon New Zealand may have some new tricks up their sleeve to deal to us in the upcoming test series next month. May have learned one or two things about 'bazball' and it's potential weaknesses.

@Thrillho @AgentCooper Long time no speak. Are you looking forward to the Ashes? What do you think of Stokes playing in the IPL? and what are your thoughts on the IPL in general? With Stokes' injury isn't it a bit risky? potentially jeopardizing his performance in the Ashes?

@TheBrandedSwordsman Sorry for the belated reply! I don’t keep up with the IPL to be honest so wouldn’t know much about Stokes playing out there.

I don’t have a problem with the IPL but it’s more the fact that so many countries are now starting their own T20 leagues so other forms aren’t getting such a look in; a player could easily just hop between these leagues and never need to play any longer format! Maybe we will see some players who only play the short form.

Good to see Bairstow back out at the crease recently though. Harry Brook has been immense since coming in to the test team to replace him so it’ll be interesting to see if Bairstow is fit for the Ashes and how he does slot in. It will be harsh on Foakes to be dropped so JB can bat and keep wicket.
