@Draco_V_Ecliptic
I've always enjoyed playing sports much more than watching them, although most of my friends are the geeky sort so I don't play sports often. So I'd happily play a game of cricket but I've only watched one or two matches.

@LieutenantFatman .Did you see the final day of the test today? Or did you hear about the result? Pleased we've got the Wisden back?

@nessisonett Haha, good match though, wasn't it? Are you watching the current test? England V Pakistan?

@Draco_V_Ecliptic Haven’t really been keeping up with the current test to be honest, my grandparents are really into the sport but my mum refuses to watch it for the sole reason that ‘only English people watch cricket’. It does hold mostly true though so I was a little peeved when I saw it on BBC One given that it was on our regional channel despite the ones you get down south never showing say, Hearts vs Hibs or Irish Shinty. I can’t name a Welsh sport tbh.

@ThereThere@Thrillho Thoughts on day 2 of the test? I think that Bumrah was playing ridiculously for a tail-ender, but then again he's done well against England before, it's a shame we seem to be losing early wickets so quickly, as well.

@ThereThere It's a shame England's run rate wasn't high enough to compete with the opposition though. It's also a shame that players like Pant and Bumrah are there to grind us into the dust.

Bonkers. Highest every chase for England, 9th highest of all time. Yet they made it look effortless. God knows where this form has suddenly come from for Bairstow.
But it’s great as it must be such a powerful psychological weapon for England where opposition teams won’t want them to be batting last to chase a score, much like our ODI team over the last few years.
Great to see England having so many options bowling too now. It does seem like it’s probably time to move Broad along. And fair play to Leach in the third test against NZ but he is kind of useless really; you shouldn’t have to be bringing Root on to bowl because you can’t trust your specialist spinner.
