My birthday is one day before Halloween and I will turn 38 years old.

I moved a first, very small batch of things to my new apartment today and began packing the most essential stuff (my records and CDs, that is).
I most likely won't move anything else until next week but IT HAS BEGUN and it feels good

@Voltan Good times ahead buddy! I moved just over a year ago, and it was probably one of my best decisions.

A pretty big life changer for me recently after the birth of my daughter.

I’m utterly besotted so far and there’s been the unexpected bonus of getting a lot of gaming time while I stay up with her asleep on me overnight between feeds so mum can get some uninterrupted sleep.

It honestly does get easier, the first 8-10 weeks are a bit ropey (as expected) but soon after she will be in a decent sleep schedule and things become a lot more manageable.

@Thrillho Hey congrats and welcome to the world of being a parent. As much as I moan about my two kids sometimes I wouldn't give them up for the world 😄

I would suggest you get as much gaming in as you can now though as soon enough you'll be too busy with clubs and taxiing them about to do much of that!

So far so good but it is just a constant cycle of feeding and sleeping for all of us (plus some Cyberpunk or Civ 6 in between both of those things of course).

It must get better though seeing as people are happy to put themselves through all of this again, eh @AgentCooper ?
