@TheBrandedSwordsman so I’ve never felt the inclination to even listen to Metal let alone play or write in that style... but having said all that I think I kinda know where your coming from. My ‘Goldilocks-zone’ of songs was between folk and rock but my personal style regardless of what I was playing in that range was balladic... it was just my sweet-spot I guess. Thing is with art, unless your an absolute virtuoso/master you can’t ‘really’ fake it. You can certainly mimic a style that isn’t natural to your own personal predilection but I think artistry is different. As I alluded to though, some people, masters of their field can transcend styles and truly convince in any genre... or even medium.

@TheBrandedSwordsman There’s also the possibility that while you may enjoy that style of music more, your talents lie elsewhere. I’m sure there are a lot of musicians who wish they were country stars who ended up in metal bands! The more you broaden your horizons, the better feel you’ll get for what sounds you have an ear for.

@nessisonett if it makes you feel any better, I bought some size small click seal bags from tesco based on previous experience. The bags that arrived are much smaller than the ones I had before. Same product, same size, now 50% smaller?!?

@TheIdleCritic there you go! Appreciate that, now I know what to look for when I do my next order! Still though, I feel like it's an easy mistake to make when snacks are food and most of the food I eat is "snacks" 😂

Just been tasked with finding a mobile phone for my wife. Requirements: not an iPhone, headphone port, good battery, not stupidly big. Decent camera. Any recommendations?

I'm an iPhone man but the One Plus series always seems to get glowing reviews for Android at mid ranger prices (around £500-600 I think). The latest Samsung Galaxy model also seems to be highly regarded but with a premium price tag.

I picked up the newer iPhone SE model myself at the end of last year after my iPhone 6 went kaput and that's been brilliant for me.

@Anti-Matter You can't force a conversation. If they don't want to talk, just move on.

Nobody hates you, but you do get rather upset when talking about games and something like Dark Souls gets mentioned. That happens in a conversation on an online forum. But if you go on a tirade about how you hate those games every time they get mentioned, yeah, people will avoid you. So it helps to just remain calm and show interest in other people's gaming tastes, that goes a long way, and accept that other people may like other types of games you are not into.
