@andreoni79 Yeah, I'm going back this summer, but to Liguria. I've been going there since as long as I can remember, so it always feels like coming home in a way.
I thought I almost killed the chat there with how eerily silent the chat then went after it š
Also PUBG is banned and illegal to play in Nepal now!
You can genuinely get arrested from it cus it's; addictive, there's been incidents of kids throwing phones at parents and the government has apparently talked to psychologists and they say it makes kids violent.
Maybe the brat just needs the phone taken off them? š

@KALofKRYPTON I didnāt know there was a difference between blood pudding, black pudding, and blood sausage. It all sounds revolting, to be honest.
@andreoni79 Thatās a pretty good analogy. In the States it even applies from one area of the country to another, where the northern US completely ruins Mexican food, and the seafood in the Southwest is so far removed from what it started out as that itās hardly even the same dish as what one would get in the Northeast.
And Iāve seen a lot of really questionable things called āhamburgersā as well. Like burgers with fruit on them. I did have a burger with a fried egg on it actually and it was marvelous.
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy Maybe the comments from the royal family (I forget who it was .. Prince William? Is there a Prince William? Iām showing my ignorance of basic British Royalty right now) about banning Fortnite is not too out of order.
Iāve never played PUBG and donāt play to, but Iām glad I donāt live in Nepal. Thatās a very slippery slope to start.
āWe cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.ā
@Th3solution Prince William is the eldest son of the Crown Prince and third in line to the throne who will probably eventually be king he has never expressed a controversial opinion in his life in public.
Prince Harry is the Crown Princeās youngest son he is sixth in line to the throne and enjoys doing controversial things like wearing Nazi uniforms and calling for popular things to be banned. Prince Harry was the one who called fortnight to be banned.
@Octane Unfortunately, yes. McDonalds is the same throughout. Except Iāve been to a few that Iām pretty sure recycled food from the garbage to make my burger.
But in France, a Quarter Pounder with Cheese is called a āRoyale with Cheeseā š
At least thatās what Samuel L. Jackson told me.
āWe cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.ā
@Ryall oooooh. š® Yeah, Prince Harry. Thatās right. I get the two of them mixed up.
I guess the question is, does William toe the line and stay buttoned up in his public persona because he has a higher pecking order toward being king, or is that just his natural disposition? And is Harry more rebellious because he knows he is further down the line and likely doesnāt have to worry about appearances? Heās the one about to have a kid too with the girl who is American or maybe part American? My knowledge of the royal family is literally made up of whatever headline might be splashed on the cover of People magazine that I inadvertently see in my peripheral vision for 5 seconds as I check out at the grocery store. Thatās about all the investment I feel I can put into it.
Edit: and to be clear and not come across as elitist or something, I put the same or less interest into American politics. I avoid it like the plague. Modern government is ... frustrating to deal with, to say the least.
@Th3solution Just national and regional variations I think. Black pudding is certainly more 'mealy' than blood sausage and pudding I think. Probably best you don't look in to white pudding... Which is also delicious š
On the royals, well - Harry's comments on Fortnite are just silly really, but do speak to a broader problem of its younger player base that shouldn't be ignored. Generally, he's a fairly likeable bloke who's done his military service and put together some excellent charitable initiatives.
Whatever people's thoughts on the monarchy, I wouldn't choose to be in their shoes for a second. Lots of people see it as a fee ride, but they're in cages of public service; ever criticised, ever on show.

@Ryall I'm no Royalist by any stretch but Prince Harry for his mistakes is actually a decent bloke.
He fought in the Army, started the Invictus games, Married Magan Markle and even visited Birkenhead recently.
I would do most of those things if I could. But he really is my idol for visiting Birkenhead. Hes the best thing to happen there since Lily Savage.
