@MatthewJP @nitraM yeah I noticed that mid group is all very close now. Thankfully I finally had a decent week to get in that mix.

Got to love when I swap my keepers before the deadline only to score 0 and the keeper I benched get 7 with, it seems, 3 bonus to add 😖.

We still seem to have some decent competition for the top slots this late in the season.

Yes it's still close at the top, helped by Martin's wee error this week. Think Islam will take the crown again this year

@MatthewJP He's certainly the favourite but I don't think he's uncatchable just yet.

Just realised we are getting close to the start of the Push Square Cup competition as well. Week 36 should be first round.

6 points between the top 3, we've got ourselves a decent title fight.

I think the draw for the first round of our cup should be later this week.

@BearsEatBeets looks like the cup draw has happened. Can't say I've ever taken any notice of it. It's been a good season between us all and still very close. The usual love hate relationship with it, stupid mistakes, luck and hindsight

Looks like Pep having fun with fantasy football managers again dropping big players who might have been brought in specifically for the double gameweek. One of my 3 isn't even in the squad for the game.

@BearsEatBeets Had 4 players tonight and got a grand total of 2 points from them. Somehow through in the cup though!

@nessisonett I thought I got lucky when I got our bottom player in the cup. When I checked his team though he somehow had four Man City players. Then I realised it was because he hasn't touched his team since December. His 4 players did better than my barely playing 3 and he knocked me out by 3 points 🤷‍♂️.
By random luck I beat the top player in my other league by 5 points though, strange how things work out.

@BearsEatBeets Seems to have been an odd week, I beat the top player in the cup and they’d triple captained Haaland. I’m a little irritated that I’m only now doing pretty well, I was close to the leading pack for a while there but dropped back and now I’m hitting form too late.

I know the gameweek isn't over yet but Sunday nights table is quite remarkable.
1st - 4th place separated by 6 points.
And 2nd-4th on identical points.

@MatthewJP That's crazy this close to the end. I'm hoping one of midfielders doesn't play this week now as my first sub has 13 points.
Might be a 4-way fight for the title on the final day. I wonder if any of us has any chips left? I've used all mine.

@BearsEatBeets Islam is the only one with a chip left - bench boost, so the odds are in his favour

I can't believe I've taken the lead going into the final gameweek. Only 1 point between 2, 3 and 4th is absolutely crazy at this late stage. @nessisonett only 20 odd points behind as well.

I'm glad I'm not superstitious as my lead is 13 points. Still, as @MatthewJP points out Islam has a bench boost so I consider that lead practically nothing. Final day title decider it will be.

Funnily enough my other league only has 11 points between 2nd to 4th as well. I've made the Cup Final for that league.

@Kairuuu It would have been super tight but I think your -8 from the subs would have just taken it in my favour whether Haaland had scored or not. Didn’t make much difference to the actual title race though 😂

@nessisonett Ah, yeah, you might be right actually. I forgot to factor in the -8 so probably wouldn’t have paid off anyway. It was close for most of the weekend though!

I’ll have to take my learnings into next season and stop making so many changes in the hopes they work out.

@Kairuuu I mostly just end up too loyal to certain players. I think I’ve had Dubravka and Roefs since week 1 or 2.
