Almost beaten by this one. I had nothing until the actor clue with 5. Good job there was only 2 in franchise although it took me a bit to remember the name of the other one.
Sometimes, even the actor clue doesn't help. Never seen it, barely even remember it being a thing. I think I can now recall a poster, but only because I know the answer. D'oh!
Got this solely on the steady combination of critical reception, genre, and release year clues. I am not a fan of the franchise at all. This was pure deduction!

One of the few from this era I haven't caught up with yet. Didn't help that a lot of its early clues looked identical to all of my educated guesses, leading me down several dead ends. Oh well.

That specific series of his is (in)famous for its steady decline. Want my advice? Just watch the first one and pretend it never got any sequels!
I never "got" this movie as much as everybody else (including my partner) but it's still pretty decent, and the clues were helpful enough for me to make an educated guess.
Another example of getting the right franchise, then having to waste a clue narrowing down which specific instalment was the correct answer. Only seen the first one, though!
Seen this one plenty, for obvious reasons. The first clue was a bit too generic but on the flipside, I'd argue that the second is too specific. Or I'm just a big ol' nerd.

If anyone can get this from the generic first picture I'll be shocked. It took until 4 to recognise a person to get a franchise but picked the wrong one. The next pic didn't seem familiar so went with the one I'm not sure I have seen.
Yeah, this is a brilliant series, but those first two clues were almost unfairly generic! It was only after banging my head against the desk trying to recall the second clue that I was able to recognise the third, as well. No shame for anybody struggling with this one!

I had nothing for the first two but the metacritic score told me what type of film to think of. Thankfully 3 was a fairly easily recognisable character from a certain well known scene. I'm fairly sure I saw it a long time ago but I've never really been a fan of this director.
The first two for this I thought couldn't possibly be more generic but when I thought I recognised the venue and clues for 3 I supposed it might be hard to find a lot of not too easy frames.
I had absolutely no clue on this one, even the notable actor made me laugh as I had never heard of them. It was only recognising the main character in the final picture that gave me the franchise and then I got lucky picking one at random. (Never seen them)
Picture 5 with the clue made it obvious but I skipped all the way there without an idea for a guess. I think I did watch it once but remember very little of it other than the basic premise.
Yet another I struggled with. I knew by the 4th picture I had not seen this one, especially given it's amazing critical scores. With 5 I finally realised what it was but I just could not think of the title. After a couple of minutes I decided to skip to 6 to see if it helped jog my memory but no. I was determined to try and remember and I was certain it was one word. After slowly going through the alphabet thinking of words it finally came to me.
With a score like that maybe I should seek it out.

The combination of the actor in the screenshot being shown with a different actor being given as the clue kicked me into gear. Doesn't help that I've only seen half of it before.
Immediately just started guessing random movies from this franchise from the get-go. Not because I'm any kind of fan (not my genre, never seen 'em) but thanks to countless parodies in other things!

Yeah, they're likely gonna defeat me more often than not, as well. Sometimes I can get lucky with something iconic enough to break into wider cultural discourse (which was the case above) but show me anything outside of a memorable gimmick or character design and I'll have no hope.

Never even heard of the title. Genuinely thought the actor's big break was that movie, which I know was released two years later. Well, that's my new thing I learned for today!
Yep, I always get confused between the slight variations in each version's title, and so unfortunately I typed the wrong one on the third clue. But I did realise what it was.

No point in me sharing my results for #448 or #449 as they're equally as dire. Total wipeouts on both, with my usual luck of guessing random series entries abandoning me on the latter.
Took me a long time staring at that clue, knowing I'd seen it somewhere a while back and struggling to remember where, but the penny finally dropped just as I was about to skip.

Recognised it immediately on the first clue, but made the mistake of trying its "other" version first. I'm an exhausted and over-stuffed post-holiday fanboy. Don't judge me!

I'm surprised I didn't recognise anything until no 5 but picked the wrong one. I've got all of them on Blu-ray as I had quite a strong fondness for the lead actress. I guess it's been quite a long time since I last watched them.
I pondered cranking up my brightness to try and see the person better in 1 but skipped ahead. Nothing triggered for me until it's pretty much given with 5. I've only seen it once and that was again probably quite a while ago. Knowing now, some of the earlier pics should have given me a clue.
@Werehog Snap for these two, except that I really like movie 454. Very memorable scene for pic 1 for people that have seen it though. Out of curiosity I have clicked ahead and think pictures 2 & 3 are much harder to instantly recognise than 1.
I think I got very lucky on this one. I thought the house looked vaguely familiar but took a wild guess on the only film that came to mind after pondering for a bit as opposed to skipping and was quite surprised when it was right.
@BearsEatBeets Agreed, I think anybody who's seen Movie #454 would remember that scene before they remembered many, many others. But hey, I'm not gonna complain about being thrown an easy victory every once in a while! Especially when things can get as cruel as a shot of a door handle or a chair leg that even a director wouldn't recognise from their own movie!
The house looked familiar to me, too, but I was absolutely wrong (and a lot of houses look alike, who knew?) so I flailed around until my general pop culture awareness kicked in at the last minute.
Another case of waiting for that aforementioned pop culture awareness to kick, although it helps that I only just read about this getting a sequel the other day.
