I also bought the Nioh collection when it came out and currently playing the first game. Was very hesitant whether I’ll like it but I’m absolutely loving it so far.

Looking forward to playing it though from what I heard their quite hard games!

@Pditty1980
It is quite hard indeed, especially when you factor in all the combat mechanics and the crafting system. But once you get the hang of it all, it’s a phenomenal game.

@Pditty1980 I really enjoyed Nioh. Challenging games but mostly fair. The weapon stance mechanic works really well and the weapon types are all pretty distinct.

I liked that the game was more level based than the Souls games but there was a bit of a lack of enemy types.

And despite really enjoying the game, I’ve never felt the need to pick up the sequel for some reason.

Well I have no choice but to get both since I bought a physical copy of the collection! LoL

@Papasears Do you think the format would work with Persona 3 or 4?

Socks before or after trousers, but never socks before pants, that's the rule. Makes a man look scary, like a chicken.

@Pditty1980 I found the original’s (I’ve still only played the original Nioh, while owning 2 on PS4 & PS5) difficulty to be fairly equitable with the Souls series... maybe a tad harder (which I liked). A friend of mine who loves the Souls series almost as much as I and has finished all 3 on multiple occasions has never finished Nioh... make of that what you will. Maybe the game seems a little more difficult due to having no I-frames.

@Papasears I really wanted to like Persona 5. I put around 15-20 hours in but have some strange aversion to turn-based action/combat. The fact that Strikers is real-time action ‘could’ swing me on it as I did love the aesthetic, narrative and flair of what I played of P5.

R&C Rift Apart. The $70 tag hurt a little but just LOOK AT IT!

I originally wasn't going to get this until it went on sale but with PS5 only experiences thin on the ground and my interest in Returnal tenuous at most, I thought why not.

@Arugula You Sony Pony you.

@JohnnyShoulder @kyleforrester87 At least we all know I'm going to end up not liking it, quitting halfway through and then moaning about how their exclusives suck. I feel better already.

@kyleforrester87 That sucks too! Actually I've warmed to it slightly but I've discovered something else I'm not overly thrilled with. The face buttons are so damn spongey. They obviously made a piece of crap on purpose so they can sell us an elite model, complete with an MTX buy now button.

Miles Morales. I'm glad I resisted the urge to buy it on PS4.
