Topic: What PS5 Games Are You Currently Playing?

Ghost of Tsushima! I love this game and the graphics are so cooooool!

@SoulChimera @RogerRoger It took them over 6 months to solve an issue that was preventing me (and a number of others) from getting the platinum in Valhalla... never suggested replacing the console though

But yeah, I'm not expecting to ever be able to play it.

@RogerRoger To be fair, my overall experience with Valhalla wasn't bad at all. It's just that one bug (apparently a rare one, I've only seen a few reports of it - which is probably why it took longer to fix than others) in a small optional activity locked me out of a trophy
I also had one more bug like it but managed to work around it myself.
I actually like some Ubi games, even if they've become a bit copy-paste at this point.

@RogerRoger I 100% all the Far Cry games and this is the first glitch aside from little visual things I’ve come across. I’ve searched to see if anyone else had the same issue and I can’t find anything. Not sure how’s it’s broken, doubt they do either, which is why I doubt it will ever get fixed for me. Haha.

@RogerRoger I could try it on another account, but you get cosmetic items for the main game and I won’t be able to 100% it trophy wise, which while doesn’t really matter, will always annoy me. Haha.

It’s not the end of the world if I don’t get to finish it. Like you say, Aloy is taking up all my time now. Gran Turismo 7 in just over a days time too.

Never mind all the games in our backlogs. Spoilt for choice. Haha. Great time to be a gamer.

Playing Horizon Zero Dawn (for PS4), before jumping to HFW. And yes, I bought a PS5 so I could go around playing the best PS4 games, until the day hell freezes and I can buy PS5 games on release date.

@avatarian I’m (re)playing it at the moment and it holds up really well and looks great with the 60fps patch.

@Thrillho To be fair, even if the graphics were to lack in comparison to the current era, the gameplay is still pretty solid IMO.

@velio84 Congrats for getting the biggest three releases of 2022 (so far). Remember to put aside some cash for GoW: Ragnarok

Having finished Horizon I caved and bought Elden Ring. Had a quick go tonight and far play to any of you guys who are managing to play this and Horizon side by side - I’ll go to crouch and oh there goes another flask 😆

Anyway seems pretty cool so far and walking the doors after that first linear section is pretty amazing.

@velio84 Hey, somebody else that didn't think God of War was the best game of all time. It was mainly due to his son and not the game itself, but the characters are a major part of any game like that, so...

@velio84 I did as it screamed my kind of build. I can't imagine I'll regret it but I always get character selection paralysis on a game like this. I know there will be the ability to change things as you go as my DeS build was totally different towards the end compared to what I started with but ideally you want to start in a good place. What did you go with?

I'm really trying to get into Elden Ring but really don't know what to do in the game (n0ob here), there is too much to explore and different paths I guess, it's a bit overwhelming for me. Sekiro was more straight forward.

@Qu1n0n3z I’m with you on that. It’s been a slow, unforgiving learning experience for sure, but the more time I’ve put into it the more rewarding it’s gotten. Every little bit of hard work and progress feels very well earned.

@renulod Exactly, I'm starting to realised that this game is like Sekiro in many aspects but I guess I was blind by fear and how big this game is but tbh everything is starting to make sense. Loving it so far.

@veli854 Thank you bro, I actually took that piece of advice and applied it.

I launched the new Stranger Of Paradise demo and the opening cinematic instantly reminded my how much I love the Final Fantasy games...
Afterwards it looks a little rough (especially as I played one of the prettiest games ever just an hour ago) but plays quite well. I hope the story goes places, lol.
