@Mes_Urson I'll second you on the fan. Im definitely not a big fan....hmm maybe they should make an oversized fan more of a strategic shield.

@Elodin Yeah, theres just some weapon types that might be "good" or "ok" in concept but just miss the mark when implemented it seems.
I still like the characters but when I see them with one of those type weapons i'll be avoiding them if i can help it.
Some, in the past iterations have pretty good crowd control moves but they just don't appeal to me!
Give me Lu Bu's spear / pike type weapon or a unrealistically large sword any day.

@Yousef- @Elodin You guys played any of the Samurai Warriors games?
I've only played SW5 i think which is a reboot or retelling?
I actually quite enjoyed it too. I think it got a lot of hate for new style and looks but I remember it playing quite well I think? Might have to give that another go now!

@Mes_Urson I missed out on 1&2 but I’ve emulated them recently and found em really fun
I didn’t play 3.
I played 4&5 and felt quite lukewarm on em.

@Yousef- Ahhhhh god I wish i had a decent PC to emulate games.
I always end up playing megadrive games because that stops it from blowing up haha!
Played Hyrule Warriors age of calamity? Or the Original Hyrule Warriors?

@Mes_Urson surprisingly I just emulate them on my android device.
Also I believe both hyrule warriors are great, but i much prefer the original with its richer roster.

@Mes_Urson I have enjoyed the last couple samurai warrior games. There were 2 older ones that were too linear in structure that I did not enjoy, but the later ones are on par with Dynasty Warriors.

My favorite of all of this style of game ate the empires. Civ lite with Dynasty Warriors is quite fun
