Topic: The game I wish they would make

I know I'm not alone in thinking about game types and styles we wish a developer would make. It could be a brand new concept or and adjustment to a favorite game to make it just the way you want it. I will only list one for now as I have many. I wish they would make more games in a high fantasy setting, but not during its down turn. For example, I would want to play in a world where elves were in their prime and Dragons were abundant. So many fantasy rpgs have you playing at the tail end of this greatness. Put me smack dab in the middle of it. I'm sure there are some, but nothing recent. Put me in this setting with today's console power that is my wish. What is yours?

Anti-Matter

Chibi Boxers with cute six pack dudes and fighting style like K-1 with Super Moves like Street Fighter III rules.

Timesplitters trilogy released as one big game, with all maps, characters and game modes, improved AI, improved mapmaking system. Build on that with a new story, new characters maps and game modes and you've got an awesome game there.

I know this is a a bit out there but a more retro Dynasty Warriors game, something with the strengths of DW 3,4 & 5 all combined.

@The_Moose Yes! An updated Timesplitters would be great. The Moose is loose!

A console version of World of Warcraft. I know it's never going to happen and I have tried MMOs on consoles like ESO, Neverwinter, etc but they are just not the same.

@Tasuki FFXIV has proven that the tab-targeting style of gameplay can still be massively popular on console. The only reason I can think of WoW not coming to console is that it’s built on 18 years worth of spaghetti code and porting it would require sorting through said spaghetti. I’m sure they could have used WoW Classic as a base when it launched though, and been able to add the expansions to console naturally.

@nessisonett That's exactly the reason. Blizzard even went on to say that some of that code is even lost and that they would have to build it from the ground up like they did with WoW Classic. I don't understand why they couldn't port Classic over maybe they just didn't see a console version viable enough or something. Maybe that might change once MS fully owns them.

just wish they’d make games like they used to in the 2000s - early 2010 , & experiment and take risks again . it’s like the only games that do that now is indie garbage , & not in an appealing cool way either .

Another game I would like to see is more obscure. It is a side game to baseball. It was on Triple Play 99 I believe. It was homerun derby with a twist. You were not just in a baseball field. You also had the option of a city construction site and medival castle. Depending on what your home run hit you get more points. The farther and smaller the target was the more points you would get. I remember breaking windows, hiting cars in the construction setting and guillotines and painted targets in the medieval setting. Back during my college days my friends and I played this endlessly. Realistic baseball is all fine and good, but that was a blast.

Ok I have an entire concept

TT games should make a new Lego game based on Phases 1-3 of the MCU (with phase four and maybe five represented through DLC packs) called Lego Marvel: The Infinity Saga. The class system from Skywalker Saga would be removed but at the cost of having less characters in the game. Most characters will feel unique. Big event movies like The Avengers movies will be split across a couple of levels and smaller "filler" movies would only take up one level. The open world areas would include New York, Asgard, Wakanda, Xandar etc. The open worlds would change in subtle ways like memorials showing up in new york for the battle of new york or the snap. I've got an entire thing showing my mock-ups for the box art and dlc stuff

@Jackpaza0508 It wouldn’t surprise me if that was next for them. Or possibly an Indiana Jones in time for the new movie.

A good boxing game is long overdue cuz ufc is ehhhh.. n on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, a jet moto remake would be dope. Possibly Future Cop LAPD

You may not like video games, but what I learned from them is this: no enemies in front of you means that you are going in the wrong way.
