@Th3solution Most likely because the frame rate was unlocked before the patch, but not stable on PS4. So they patched it to lock the frame rate and 'guarantee' a 30fps. Downside is that this patch also applies to PS5, even though it has no problem pushing an unlocked frame rate to 60.

@ShaiHulud I believe it was just a software update for some people as batteries where dying in a hour or so and some people I've seen have had trouble connecting the controller

@JohnnyShoulder That’s interesting. All we kept hearing about was the record setting pace of the PS5 sales. Well... yeah, the first few weeks were record setting, but it looks like maybe sales are coming to a screeching halt due to supply constraints. All those PS5 games we’re hoping to see released in March through October... expect them to be delayed.

@JohnnyShoulder
I noticed Nibel has sometimes misleading takes.
This is what Lisa Su said:
'I think we’re getting great support from our manufacturing partners. The industry does need to increase the overall capacity levels and so we do see some tightness through the first half of the year, but there is added capacity in the second half.”

So yes of course shortage will continue due to high demand but we all know this.

Edit
That doesnt mean no shortage in the second half of the year. Only means more capacity.

The crowd, accepting this immediately, assumed the anti-Eurasian posters and banners everywhere were the result of acts of sabotage by agents of Goldstein and ripped them from the walls.

JohnnyShoulder

@JJ2 How is that even misleading though? Its almost the same statement as yours without the bs. I don't think you'll should presume everyone knows this, especially as MS previously said there would only be shortages until March and Sony have said nothing.

@JohnnyShoulder If it's available from time to time, it's at least better than the current situation. I don't even think the Wii or Switch were this bad.

JohnnyShoulder

@Th3solution @Octane Yeah it will eventually (slowly) get better. It would be nice to have an official confirmation from Sony and what the current situation is and what the plans are going forward.

And then there is the factor attached rates to games is apparently lower for next gen due to scalpers not being able to sell everything they have.

I m not sure what you are calling bs. Lisa quote or my opinion which is just that, an opinion
Yes it s also my opinion that every one knows there are shortages for a while..

@JJ2 Yes we know all there will be shortages ongoing but we've not had any indication of when things could get better. There was no need to be such a smart ass with your response, I was just simply sharing the info on here. Not everyone is on twitter and has this info to hand, and it wasn't reported on Push Square at the time either. If you knew this then good for you, but to assume everyone knew this is wrong, in my opinion.

I dont understand why your being aggressive. I just shared the primary source and didnt expected to get insulted for it.
Have a nice day.

@JJ2 You implied that it was misleading and that everyone knew what I posted already, which to me comes across a bit presumptuous and belittling.

If you found what I said insulting, I apologise as that was not my intention.

Just found where they got the idea for a ps5 style. Id share the image but unsure how to move a pic from my phone to here. It is a picture in an article of the Economist magazine Jan 30 to Feb 5th issue. Pg 29. In the background of a protest picture you can see a building that looks like an a giant ps5. Not kidding. The seriousness aside from the mongolian protest, the picture did make me laugh.

Does anyone else have to re-purchase/“buy” the agents on the instant game collection? I went through and claimed them but it wants me to do so again. It’s honestly kind of annoying. Once they’re purchased they shouldn’t get removed.
