Topic: Horizon Forbidden West

@RogerRoger I used to love Lego when I was a kid, but I haven't been tempted to buy anything since then. I just saw it and thought, why not. It looks beautiful though. The colours and style make it pop.

I've placed it on the side between two big plants and it looks great.

If you like Horizon, I definitely recommend it.

@RogerRoger Easily solved. Sell and kidney and throw away anything taking up space like books, clothes, food etc. Haha.

But yeah, the price of some Lego sets is insane. I would've probably bought other stuff over the years if it wasn't so expensive.

@JigsawPieces Congrats on finally finishing it and getting the platinum.

While by the time I finished it (roughly 115-120 hours I think) I was kind of ready to start another game, I still do miss playing the game if I look back on it like I am now.

It's clear that it lived up to very high expectations for several of us, so that's obviously a very good thing even though the game is over for us.

More generally, it's good to hear I'm not the only one sad about finishing it! I'll keep my fingers crossed for a decent chunk of dlc landing as an expansion, sometime!

There should be no reason why they don't do some DLC like The Frozen Wilds for Forbidden West. The game definitely deserves it, and it's not like they'd be too busy to do it. It'd be a different team making the PSVR2 game since that was already well in development. It's become even more obvious of late that Sony wants more and more money too. I'm not sure what the DLC would be off the top of my head, but that's Guerrilla's job.

@RogerRoger yeah that blasted Tall Neck. I've been working so hard to keep from ordering that thing. Figured it would be sold out or unavailable if I waited long enough. But I'll be darned if @SoulChimera isn't really selling it here.

@RogerRoger @SoulChimera lol both of you are no help. Much of the problem is my kids have grown out of Legos and I'm not sure if I'm ready to become that adult who buys Legos for themselves. Not out of embarrassment but more I'm worried once I indulge once that's it, the restraints have come completely loose.

Then again maybe I just buy this one right lol.

@zupertramp I’ve avoided it too. Mostly because of the cost. But this isn’t badly priced. It does look really good in real life.

So uh, how do I start a New Game+? Anyone done this yet?

@zupertramp go to new game and it will give you all your difficulty levels to choose from. New Game+ is in there!

Still haven't finished this game, hope they don't release DLC lol.

@Octane I would love DLC but they can take their time. Plenty things to do, but a return to the world of Horizon would be a welcome one!

@MightyDemon82 I ended up googling it because I don't see it anywhere under new game and you have to go to your base in-game and select it from some zenith computer.

The fact that I had to look up how to select new game+ is very much in line with this sequel's convoluted approach to just about everything.

Just got the Platinum, some stuff were grindy, and a pain to do but so happy I finally got it
