Plat number 17 - Stray.
Speed run came in at 1h 40m 58s so 19mins and 2secs to spare lol honestly I did it pretty much after completing the game and it wasn't to bad and I'm not one for speed runs! Pretty fun and chilled game, definitely worth checking out on ps plus
@MaulTsir congrats buddy. Yeah I’m not one for speed runs either… I actually think that I’ve only had to do one or two in the past. Still, I do find a little extra satisfaction after conquering something that you don’t feel altogether comfortable with. 👍
@Bentleyma nice work buddy. I’ve had this in the backlog for a while actually… might be a nice change of pace after some of the big budget epics I’ve been playing of late.
@Kidfried congrats on the It Takes Two plat also… such an amazing co-op experience.
I just beat the main story of TLOUp1 and I obviously missed a lot of collectibles required for trophies, so now I'm going back into NG+ to get them - which is I wanted to say this: I absolutely love the implementation of the PS+ Game Help for this one!
There's an activity card that contains hints on how to find every collectible in the current chapter, listed in order (the game is quite linear and doesn't allow for much backtracking after all) and only showing the ones you haven't found.
No more going through a guide on a website and wondering which ones I'll waste time on because I already had them, just couldn't remember.
Awesome.
@RogerRoger I don't normally use the activity cards much either but in this one it's really well done, providing the exact information you might need at a given time.
There are also hints in the trophy list (trophies for finding all artifacts, all Firefly pendants, all optional conversations etc) but they all just say "Use the activity card!", haha.
@RogerRoger@Voltan I think I’ve used the Hint feature through the PS5 activity card system a few times, and it was helpful. It helped on a couple trophies for my platinum run in Rift Apart and think I may have used it in Miles Morales and Astrobot’s Playroom. I’d like to see better third party adoption for the tool, but I have no idea how much extra work it adds, where they are already having to add unique DualSense features that Xbox and PC don’t have.

@Kairu good work buddy, always satisfying to box-off an entry on the trophy list… particularly one for a game as great as Bloodborne. Funnily enough, it was my first plat and gave me the bug.
@Kairu Nice one! I really dislike the fact that DLC trophies bring down the progress bar. I have the plat for FFXV, but only have 45% of the trophies.

Plat #29 Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory
First trophy: Jan 2018
Plat trophy: Oct 2022
Oh boyyyy. 85 hours on Vita, 189 hours on PS4!
I felt the urge of getting back to it, but I couldn’t remember why I dropped the plat. As I did get the platinum for the first game (my first plat).
Started the game up...checked trophies...4 Online trophies was an instant turn off, but luckily Players can be subbed with AI using player teams. Only took me a few hours. Wish more games did this.
The game has a lot of collectibles which you need to 100% all but one. It’s well over 1100 items to keep track of.
The most annoying of which is collecting 700/700 Digimon medals!!! These are random drops from Gacha machines, enemies & found throughout the world.
Now as I platinumed the first game on vita in which I had already collected 500/500 medals I would’ve been able to transfer them as a ‘perk’- however at this point I have no idea where the game or my vita is so that was out.
Never again. That was arguably the most tedious plat I have ever gotten. In all fairness I probably could’ve shaved off 40hours+ if I had planned better. Oh well. Now the wait for plat #30 GOW:R begins. Time to take it easy😅.

Congratulations @Fight_Teza_Fight, sounds like a helluva lot of work that… but I get the vibe that it was some what a labour of love.
I too am planning on GoWR being my next platinum… unless any Valkyrie has anything to say about that of course. And by all accounts will be roughly a quarter of the time you put in on #29.
@AgentCooper After the PS2 era the Digimon games were mostly handheld & didn’t leave Japan or were exclusive to Nintendo.
After a tons of petitions Bandai Namco started localising them again starting with Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth in 2015- which in my opinion is the best Monster raising game since the Pokemon GSC era.
Digimon Survive is the latest game in the franchise & released a few months ago (although that’s more of a visual novel).

@Kairu Congrats for the 100% ! A game like Bloodborne cannot stay stuck at 98% ! @Fight_Teza_Fight This sounds like it was a lot of work ! I didn't expect this game to be that long. Congrats !
#341 Gran Turismo 7 - GT is back, and is as great as ever ! It looks amazing, plays amazing and... it's basically amazing. I was definitely not a fan of the way Legend cars are sold, but it's a detail. To be honest, I felt like the plat was not challenging enough for a GT. I'm not talking about pointlessly leveling up for hundred of hours like in GT Sport, but I would have liked to see the Circuit Experiences and the Missions in the trophies, these are the real challenges ! Well, at least more people will get it.
Thanks Polyphony for bringing the series back to the top !
@Kairu
Good work on the Bloodborne platinum. Yet another whose skill and persistence I could only dream of matching.
@Fight_Teza_Fight
I do love the long gaps between first and last trophies - something about going back to take care of unfinished business just chimes with me. Sounds like a bit of a slog though, well done.
@Cornaboyzzz
Agreed. It's good to have proper GT back. Disagreed - the trophies were challenging enough for me! You are right though, they could have made me spend more time on the other modes. Nice one anyhow.
“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.”
@Cornaboyzzz I’m not even shooting for the platinum on GT7 because of the silly Legend Dealership situation. To only have a list of around 10 cars at a time which rotate in such a random, slow, and unpredictable way… well, it’s just made me brush off any thoughts of getting a few of the trophies that depend upon buying them at the Legend store. The randomization and lootboxey nature of never knowing when a certain car will be available just gets under my skin. I love the game otherwise and have spent dozens and dozens of hours of enjoyment with it. And I can even admit that I appreciate the live-service elements somewhat with the monthly added content. But having to log in daily to check the Legend store for a car to drop so you can finally be granted the privilege of buying it for a trophy is kind of cheap, imo.
