Topic: Fastest way to level up in Kingdom Hearts 1?

I tried looking up online on the fastest way to level up in the original Kingdom Hearts and posts were suggesting Traverse Town. I tried there but didn’t seem up get much EXP. Is Traverse Town really the place to level up fast or are there other places? I’m stuck on Maleficent dragon in the game.

@Don Probably the colleseum. Some new cups should’ve opened up & you can replay the old ones.
Also have equipped at least 1 fire reduction accessory on each character.
Customise Donald & Goofy so that they’re constantly playing support.
Have Sora constantly cast Aero on himself & don’t be afraid to use items. Definitely one of the harder boss fights in the game.

Thank you, I will try the strategies you outlined on the dragon. I read the Hades tournament is a good one to level up in but it’s not available at the point where I am at in the game. The newest one in the colleseum I trained in is the Hercules cup. I was able to finish KH2 but the first game seems much harder.

@Don yeah the Colosseum is the best place to level up also using the synthesis shop to get some good accessories is also helpful

on a side note i never had a hard time with the Dragon, i always found it rather easy but Riku on the other hand was always a pain in the backside

Yeah I read Riku is pretty difficult as well. I really hope he’s not any harder than Maleficent dragon.

@Don he jumps around the stage like a bunny on crack, the main issue is actually being able to hit him
