Hello all. I am trying to understand what 'region free' means exactly. I want to get a (Phat 320gig) PS3, but I want a red one. The only red ones I see for sale online are in Japan. Will a Japanese 'region free' PS3 function the same as a North American? Do the controls function the same? If not can it be (relatively painlessly) tweaked/modified? Or maybe I should just buy a black one here and give the casing a hydro dip?
